ABANDONED. Thriller book with a blue cover with a web like image on it.

I remember listening to parts,of,this book with my dad, but never finished it a few years. back. It featured a white web on the cover with a black sphere if i remember correctly. The plot part that I had heard featured an assassin in a foreign country hunting a women target. I'm fairly certain it was classified as a thriller.
