I haven't read it, but I heard Renegade by J.A. Souders was very good and it seems similar to Skylark.

The Feline Felon (bookfeline) oh ok

Olivia (elven) I'm looking for some good audio books. I like romance, YA, fantasy, mystery/crime, historical fiction...I'll give anything a try pretty much. I just love listening to audios in my car.

By fantasy do you go more for a YA book? or a New Adult / Adult book?

message 14: by BLT (new)

BLT I realize I've been in a reading rut (keep reading romance/pnr novels)
and would like to start reading more YA or New Adult paranormal/fiction
I'm open to pretty much anything :)

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

If you want, you can check out the buddy reads thread... I have posted the books I'm reading in April and most (if not all) are YA :)

I don't know if you've read it or not but Eleanor and Park is probably a great listen. I'll raid you read shelf and see if I can come up with some good recommendations!

A good young adult/romance book is Everything Everything, so I would assume it would be a great audiobook.

I also heard great things about Eleanor and Park too...

I'm really leery of anything by Rainbow Rowell. I listened to Fangirl back in February and I hated it. I'm gonna give it a shot...just not right now.

I'm reall..."

I agree with that. I know from people I talked to, they liked Eleanor and Park much better.

message 22: by Katherine (new)

Katherine This is my first Rainbow Rowell book but so far I'm loving it. I didn't think I liked contemporary but something about this book just made me like it

message 23: by BLT (new)

BLT It's a great first contemporary book. The author's writing style is very simple and easy to understand (in a good way) which helps the story flow

message 24: by Katherine (new)

Katherine Olivia, what are some of your favorite books?

Sara ➽ Ink Is My Sword (inkismysword) | 17 comments For a teen romance, I recommend Art & Soul by Brittainy C. Cherry

message 26: by Sam Lien (new)

Sam Lien (sam_nguyen) | 10 comments I would recommend We Are the Ants for everyone. I read it earlier this year and found it extremely amazing!

BLT Nicole wrote: "I need a good YA fiction book"

I really liked Poison Princess (The Arcana Chronicles, #1) by Kresley Cole

It's a bit more fantasy rather than fiction but it is classed under a dystopian

message 31: by S (new)

S Another good YA fiction is Winger by Andrew Smith

message 32: by Olivia (new)

Olivia (elven) Katherine wrote: "Olivia, what are some of your favorite books?"

The Outsiders, Falling Kingdoms, Jasper Dent Trilogy, Water for Elephants, Velvet Series (Jude Deveraux), Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

I'm pretty all over the place haha.

I adored "Boy Toy" by Barry Lyga. His Jasper Dent trilogy is good too.

message 36: by Katherine (new)

message 37: by Angela (new)

Angela Maria Hart (angelamariahart) | 3 comments The "Sweet Peril" series or "The Start of Me and You" is going to be my next read.

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey guys! I'm looking for a book with a fast paced storyline and lots of action! I've read all of James Patterson's Max Ride series (except for the newest one), and I loved those. Sci-fi or fantasy would be best, but I'm up to try anything! (I also really enjoyed Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, and the books that followed)

Any recommendations?
