Hey Ezi - we just got back from Spring Break road trip to Washington Dc. Loads of fun but car broke down on way home :( totally stressful.

Just checking in - do you have a time in mind for this one this month?

I'm finishing an audio within the next day or two as well as a book I'm currently reading.

Luckily (lol) we broke down right by lots of hotels within walking distance. We ended up being able to get a suite w/free breakfast for a decent price at last moment's notice and the dealership our car was taken to was able to fix our car by the next afternoon. Kids got Steak N shake for dinner and Cracker Barrel for lunch the next day. They were happy. Hubby was the most stressed the whole time.


Washington DC was a fabulous time - made it to two Smithsonian museums, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, World War 2 Memorial, US Capitol Building, White House, and the National Archives.

Kiera is interesting - seems kind of scatter brained and her idea for helping herself and Grayson - a little far fetched -just saying.

Grayson - at first felt sorry for him but after Kiera's business meeting/proposition - not so much. He is judging exactly like he just got judged at the bank - without looking deeper or trying to find more than the society pages.

I'm in chapter 9 - not sure what the hell I got myself into - there are mere glimpses that Grayson might be nice but most of the time he (view spoiler)[has been a total ass - holy crap - you accept a date on your 'wedding night' in front of your new 'wife' no less. I know the marriage is a shame but that is a total asshole-ish wanker thing to do to someone.

Chapter 7 - the wine bottle - all I could think during that whole thing was "Ooooohhhhhh sssshhhiiittttt - Nnnnnoooooo' (hide spoiler)]

I liked the whole Witch and Dragon thing. I think the secondary characters like Charlotte gave this story more depth

Spoilers/ ramblings up through chapter 20 - I keep forgetting to update

Kira's Dad and Cooper - what total asshole's - good thing Grayson went with her when she told her Dad she was married. I can't believe her Dad made her the scapegoat for what Cooper did - and for Cooper to think they could work things out - are you still high on the coke you snorted??!? Please, pretty please can I be married to an asshole who feels the need to get his rocks off with whores....please I have no self respect and don't think I deserve more - what a dumbshit.


Bannister race - hilarious!! but then.....
Charlotte - bringing Shane and Vanessa to Grayson's home - wtf??? Really I though Charlotte was on Gray and Kira's side and those two were so close to actually being together ( ok I know now that it all worked out but I was kind of screaming at my kindle during this part)

Then Grayson leaving her to fend for herself in the house with Shane (and possibly Vanessa - no clue if Gray even knew that Vanessa went to visit her parents) no really not awkward at all for Kira. Then you get drunk and smell like another woman and you're surprised Kira doesn't want to sleep with you - you already now know what Cooper and her Dad have done to her....Gray put his asshat back on...

Apricot romp - ok that was pretty funny. Prior to that Gray blurting out he only married Kira for money and he wasn't jealous of Shane - another asshat moment.

Masquerade ball - awww - finally - was worried about her Dad's visit - still not sure that is the last we will see of him - esp since there are 6 more chapters.



Last thought from this morning - crap - Gray just found out his Dad was running the vineyard into the ground before he died. I can't even imagine. I'm hoping Gray realizes that he had parents in Charlotte and Walter - even though they aren't biological. (hide spoiler)]
