Wow he is an arrogant SOB but you just know there's more to him and I can't help wondering what "tragic" past he's hiding from. I just hit Chapter Eight. (view spoiler)[He really seems to connect with the house and his comment of "we all have a story" means he has a big one. I can't help liking him even though I completely understand why Rylee would want to stay far away (hide spoiler)]

I'm trying to finish up Mistborn: The Final Empire. It took me longer than I planned. So I'll be starting Driven later tonight. But no worries. I'll catch up quickly

So there are parts of this book I definitely like and parts that are driving me crazy. Chapter 14 (view spoiler)[All the games she's so busy playing and she even says herself "Did I handle that right, Haddie? I tried so hard to be what he wants" It just seems she's twisting herself into knots just so she can hang on to him longer when he likes her fine just for herself. (hide spoiler)] Then of course there is Colton (view spoiler)[he's just as bad with the mixed signals and cryptic comments - I wonder what his 747 baggage is? (hide spoiler)]

I'm at 24% right now. The Zander scene was really sweet.

Finished! (view spoiler)[That was quite some ending. Real nice, Colton. Gah... I hate cliffhangers. I liked this book but I didn't love it. I couldn't bring myself to rate it more than 3 stars because it feels as if I've read this exact same plot a dozen times before. (hide spoiler)]

I finished it also - and yes it had SO much drama and I have a feeling the next one would be even more drama. I'm guessing eventually he will "make a break-through" but since there are 3 books it probably won't happen for quite awhile. I also hate cliffhangers and this one was a bit of a doozy.

I'll end up giving it 3 stars as well - nothing really new and too much angst/drama for me. I'd be yelling RUN AWAY as fast as you can. If the guy is this messed up this early in the relationship it isn't going to get better.
