Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments I am reading ARRIVAL Arrival: War for Earth Book One and I love this series so far and there are more in the series already written!
I am listning to The Racketeer by John Grisham waiting for the audio of Red Rising (Red Rising, #1) by Pierce Brown to be available in the digital library.

I'm continuing on with my binge read of The Expanse series. I started book 6 Babylon's Ashes (The Expanse, #6) by James S.A. Corey last night. I'm definitely in a space opera mood.

I'm also listening to A Torch Against the Night (An Ember in the Ashes, #2) by Sabaa Tahir (reread on audio this time)and when my Kindle battery gets low, I'm reading My Plain Jane (The Lady Janies, #2) by Cynthia Hand .

I'm really loving it! It's very true to the TV series which is what I started watching. It's described as Game of Thrones in space. 😬

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments I just moved last Saturday and Sunday and am sore and tired still but excited about getting things to make my place look happy. I have a balcony now. I am happy but not looking forward to assembling a wall cabinet and floor cabinet for my bathroom to give me some storage room for hair tools and makeup and cleansers. It’ll be fun.

Yes, all done but waiting for my new reclining couch.
So I got a special offer from Audible for three months and I took it and got Red Rising Red Rising (Red Rising, #1) by Pierce Brown
I can get the others in the series too. Can't wait to start. But I have to go borrow my son's drill and install my towel holder and bathroom mirror and assemble a wall cabinet for the bathroom.

Currently rereading The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds, #1) by Alexandra Bracken on audiobook this time.

Also continuing my binge reading of The Expanse series. I'm on the last book published right now Persepolis Rising (The Expanse, #7) by James S.A. Corey . The 8th book releases in Oct.

And I've been working on an ARC of The Water Cure by Sophie Mackintosh and I'm not sure why I'm still reading this. It's really bizarre and disturbing.

I know you'll especially love the astronaut book, Karen. He shares his experiences while answering the questions. It's really interesting, and you should read it. If you get the audio version from Audible, you can even have him reading it.

Catherine Bruno | 771 comments Finished me re-read of Goblet of Fire and also finished Prosper Redding, which I enjoyed and can’t wait for the sequel. Currently reading Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds and I’m almost done with it mostly necause it’s structured like poems but also because it’s addicting.

I really liked Prosper Redding too!

Catherine Bruno | 771 comments Finished Long Way Down, it was a quick read but very powerful. Just started Three Dark Crowns and still re-reading To Kill a Mockingbird.

Rose (The_Calm_Reader) (roselittlebookowl75) | 1372 comments After dragging my heels for months, I just started DragonFly In Amber last night! I’m about 50 pages in! I forgot how much I missed this world! This book is a beast! It took me a month to read a Outlander. Hopefully I can plow through this a little quicker!!

I have Dragonfly in Amber downloaded on my Audible and I'm listening to bits and pieces in between other reads. It IS huge! Only 39 hours of listening time! 😬 Lol. Davina Porter has such a soothing voice. I put it on when I need to de-stress.

Actually, a month on Outlander is pretty good! I kept putting it down, I think it took me around 8 months to finish it!

I think I got halfway through Dragonfly in Amber and then stopped. I didn't enjoy that one as much as I was hoping to. I watched the show instead and then read Voyager, which was pretty good. Maybe you'll have a different experience.

Ha, It took me about a year to finish Outlander. And it may be the same with Dragonfly in Amber. I just like the soothing voice so really only listen once in a while. I did watch the show but still have the last 3 episodes of season 3 to watch. Diana Gabaldon is local to me and I see her at events so I keep buying the books to get signed. 😂
