ooo.. Unlucky you.
Maybe the bookstore has a couple of signed books in the store?
I finished it yesterday. Really good book it lives up to the praise.

Great thinking, Oda! I know they always get the authors to sign extra books! I’ll go by there this weekend!
What the heck did I just read??
I thought this was a typical end of the world by virus apocalyptic story. Ummmm... Yes, but it's also a gruesome horror story that has totally given me the heebie jeebies! Yikes!!
Nancy, have you read this one? This would be a good one for the Apocalypse Whenever group! 😱
And Jenny, this is worse than the bugs in the Gone series! 😝

I finished
and I ended up really liking it. I really liked the realism, it the kids in it talked and acted just like teens today. And the ending was realistic as well.
Also finished
which was a good sequel, I liked it a bit better than the first. The last book comes out in June! Woot!
Almost done with my reread of
loving it, loving it!
Started

And also working on a beta read ;)

which is exactly what I’m in the mood for!! Loving this one!
Also rereading
this time on audio and reading the same beta Jenny is! We’ll have to compare notes, Jenny, when you get here! 😜

I recently finished:
and I think this is my favorite of the series so far. 4 stars
which was such a sweet short story! 4 stars
3.5 stars. I liked the conclusion to this one
Next I'm reading
and rereading

Next I'm reading

I finally finished listening to the audiobook of
which is the prequel of
I started it years ago and since I've read it so many times, used it as filler in between audiobooks when I wasn't sure what I wanted to listen to next, or as a soothing book late at night to fall asleep by. I got to about 61% and decided to finally go all in and finish it.
And of course I got sucked back into Avalon and am now listening to The Mists of Avalon, all 50 hours! 😬
For print books, I've had a hard time reading lately. My eyes got all out of whack and most of the time, won't focus sufficiently on the words. Crap! I was sticking to books that were mindless reads because I can't stay focused on the story. I finally broke down and went to the eye doctor today and bought prescription reading glasses. 😭 It sucks to get old. But hopefully I'll be able to read normally again once they get here. Until then, not sure what I can read in the meantime. I have to use my bulky work glasses which do not work to read in bed. Audiobooks have saved me these past couple of months!

Audiobooks were a lifesaver for my mother-in-law after she went blind. She loved to read so much. Here in Iowa there is an audiobook library by mail for the blind and she qualified for that, so she got her audiobooks in the mail. She went through at least 5 a week!
I hope the glasses help you Karen! I know how much you still love to read your print copies :)

your first time reading it? I started rereading it today. I forgot how fast the plot takes you attention. And the zero boring bits.

Thanks Jenny! I hope my glasses get here soon! They should be here before you come so you’ll get to see me in my new little boy’s glasses. 😳😂 Only ones I could find that I thought would be comfy for reading in bed that fit. It’s so strange how fast my eyes went downhill. Two months ago, I had no issue at all. I’m still reading but can only read for about 15 minutes before getting a headache and having to stop. I’ll survive. I’m whining like this when it’s such a minor issue. Oy. I should be counting my blessings that a pair of glasses fixes this right up. Victoria, I bet you’re wanting to beat my head right about now. 😜

Well...
Nah, you're OK.
I did immediately think you should be grateful glasses will fix the issue. Also, be glad these days there are audio books and text to speach options available. But I know how easy it is to take something like sight for granted. Plus, I like you, and tend to avoid making a habit of beating up people I like. ;)
I just haven't read that much this last week!
I did finished
solid 4 star read, so cute! And a great book about fandoms in general :)
Also finished my reread of
5 stars, I just adore this story (the whole quintet is awesome, it gets so much better with each book!)
Haven't started anything new yet, but I'm doing another readathon this weekend. I hope to work some more on
and also hoping to read

I preordered that. When does it take place in the sequence of things? I still haven't read The Raven King yet.
