Still plowing through still loving it.
Though admittedly Tobias is not my favorite of the narrators. I don't like him that much.

I definitely think you should! I love the dark fantasy/fairy tale vibe of it!

Back to reading
It's a really good read, but I have to take another break from it as I just got
from the library :)

I'm so glad you answered though!! ;) Thanks!!

The Hate U Give is an interesting one for me so far. I like how raw and real it is. No sugar-coating, no attempts at being PC. TRUTH. That is hugely important in any book. Sometimes I'm reading it and I feel myself getting choked up at the simplest of lines. The writing isn't flowery, but it hits each point with certainty and power. That's the only way I can describe it. It is an important book.

You're making me glad I grabbed a copy, and eager to read it very soon.

This has been on my TBR forever...How is it?
Almost done with The Hate U Give. I don't know anything about the ending but I am very worried it's not going to be happy.

Finished The Hate U Give. Argg, so frustrating. I had a pretty good indication as to the ending (based on real life), but still. SO FRUSTRATING. Good book though. Had a very real feel to it.

Awesome, I've been interested in that one for a while :)

I mean, it is real. So yeah, worth reading. But still...the ending hurt. A lot.

I'm a third through
AWESOME book! And the author is really nice :)
In other news, Fatemarked just hit its highest ranking on Amazon ever, as well as its sequels. The timing is perfect because book four, Deathmarked, comes out TOMORROW, a month earlier than initially planned thanks to the awesomeness of my beta reading team :) :) :)

That's awesome about Fatemarked's ranking, as well as about Deathmarked being out early!
I couldn't be happier. I feel....lucky. I work hard at everything I do, including writing, and to see it pay off for my career and family is a good feeling :) Thanks for all the support from this group!

You deserve it. :)

Interesting description of thug. I would agree but to me gayle forman or meg rosoff books are rawer and realer. Or maybe thats just me thinking because those books have less humor they are more real? I DO LOVE THUG though.

I am crawling through Battle Mage but love it so much. Just don't have much time these days to read, unfortunately. But at least the reading time I am getting is SO GOOD. I cannot recommend this book enough to lovers of epic fantasy, dragons, and magic. It is long, but really satisfying :)
