Thanks Jenny, that's helpful. I'm sure I'll pick it up eventually. There were just one or two people who liked her previous trilogy who were not huge fans of this that made me hesitate. But I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it!

I'm only 60 pages in, and it's classic Laini Taylor. You have to read her slowly because of her beautiful although wordy writing. I'm thinking of switching to audio. I'll see how I do this afternoon. I did her DoSaB series on audio and loved that one.

It is fantastic, David. Not only is the plot and topic extremely important and relevant, it's extremely well written. Hands down my favorite book I've read thus far this year.

So glad you liked it as much as I did! Great characters in hard situations. My kind of book :)

Has anyone read
? It's really good and the author is a cool guy. I'm planning a multi-author epic fantasy promo with him and a few others :) If you like Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series you may enjoy this one.

There's a book 2? Oh dear. Should I wait until it comes out and then read read the first book and second book together? How books is this going to be?
