I sort of finished Bluescreen, although I must admit I skimmed heavily toward the end. It wasn't my favorite read. I liked the tech, but there was a lot of repetition, the characters weren't that likeable, and in the end I just wanted it to be over. Sad but true :(

I'm hoping my next read will pull me out of this mini-slump. I suspect it will, because I'm reading The Delphi Effect by Rysa Walker by the talented Rysa Walker! I'm more than 10% in and already hooked!

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments Just started THE RIFT The Rift by Walter Jon Williams and it is holding my attention. I just finished another book so still looking for my next read.

Elora Mitchell | 449 comments So I've read a TON of stuff recently (I'll put a link to my blog when it's up), but I read A List of Cages yesterday. It was FANTASTIC!
One of those rare ya books that sees parents as awesome. Warning: it will pull at every heartstring you have and contains graphic physical abuse.

Geez, that book sounds intense. I've never heard of it but I'll take a look now.

I'm still working on The Delphi Effect by Rysa Walker , it is SO creative. I love how much thought Rysa Walker put into the abilities each character has. Very cool!

I loved the beginning, thought it got a little slow in the middle because her relationship with Aaron felt really forced, but now that she is (view spoiler)I'm loving it again!

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments I am bouncing, from one book to the next. Now I am back to true crime Predator Rape and Injustice in Seattle by Jack Olsen and will probably finish it. I used to live in Seattle so I remember this one a bit. It is in my old standby, true crime genre.

I finished the audio of Reamde last night finally. 38+ hours. Yikes! Not at all what I expected but I enjoyed it.

Almost done with my reread of Fatemarked. And about to start a beta read of the 2nd book in The Delphi Effect series. :D

On audio, I started Jurassic Park. (Need that J for my A-Z challenge!)

Heather (hersecretsmile) | 290 comments I started Silver Stars (Front Lines, #2) by Michael Grant a couple weeks ago but put it hold when Silence Fallen and Etched in Bone came out. Now I'm reading Etched in Bone (The Others, #5) by Anne Bishop and listening to Caraval (Caraval, #1) by Stephanie Garber , although I have not had much time or motivation for either unfortunately.

I finished Fatemarked (The Fatemarked Epic, #1) by David Estes last night. Third time reading it! ;) I knew David made some changes between the ARC I read a few months ago and the final copy, and wow, they were worth it!!

Thank you so much, Karen!! SO GLAD you enjoyed the finished product, your beta feedback was invaluable! The book is selling SO WELL, I am so happy. So far the reviews are coming in really strong, hopefully the trend continues :) Three books are published in the series with two more by the end of the month! There will also be another Origins volume out toward the end of April or early May, but I haven't started writing the 4th full-length novel yet. That one is going to take me a while :)
