"What about Starla?" Silver whispered.

Starla started to panic. Her mind whirled with possibilities. She resisted a screech.
"Hold still, Starla! What ever you do, don't move!!" Petra slowly edged towards the other girl.m, arrow held high. The TJ shifted, buzzing. "This might hurt..." Petra whispered, creeping closer.
"It's good, but there's a massive chance that I won't be able to shoot the bug off of her!"
"How are people on throwing knives?" Silver asked looking around for anything that might help.((What do they eat?))
"I'd attempt to stab it off, but I don't think I can get close enough." Petra whispered, eyeing the creature.
Silver slowly inched forward. "Starla are you wearing your armor?" Silver asked while moving forward slowly. She picked up the dead rabbit.
The TJ waddles (?) closer to Stark's neck.((the bag that was opened contains 1 ration for 1 meal for 1 person))
Starla was in such a frenzy she didnt hear any of the conversation. She just stared with horrified eyes at the tracker jacker, its wings buzzing malevolent.
Eliane moved quickly and silently, drawing her sword and smacking the TJ off Starla's neck and smashing it.
"Thanks Elaine!" Petra gasped. "You okay, Starla?"
"My God! Starla, don't move." Petra pulled out her bow, hands trembling. "I think I can hit it. Everyone, get your stuff. We need to get out of here! There's a TJ nest nearby."
Silver slowly got her stuff and Starla's. Silver looked around and saw the nest. "Over there." Silver pointed to the nest.
Petra licked her lips. There was a large chance that she could shoot the TJ off, but there was also a possibility of sending the arrow through her companion's head on accident. She narrowed her eyes, taking careful aim, and released the arrow. It grazed Starla's hair, piercing the TJ's body. The arrow shot into a nearby tree. She ran, grabbing the arrow and dropping it back into her quiver before snatching up the dead rabbit.
Starla bit her lip, trembling. She looked at her hands. They were shaking violently.
Eliane grabbed her supplies and anything else the group had left after kicking down the shelter and bolted after the group.
"For now at least. Now we've got to be careful. And it makes me nervous we haven't seen any other tributes with all our ruckus and whatnot. But whatever, we're all alive so far."
Starla feels her hair being moved. She tensed and fingered the area.
((they do now e.e))
She screamed and clenched her hand, squishing it in her hand.
She screamed and clenched her hand, squishing it in her hand.
((it was mine... I think... lemme go back up and check XD))
((dangit it was... I was trying to read it fast... school sucks XD E.E))
((Well, there can also be one in Silver's I guess.))
"Check yourselves over for TJs!" Petra advised, running her fingers through her hair. "They could still be after us!!"

((I meant her as in Silver's e.e))
Starla clenched her fists. She was sick of the Capitol. Sick of the games. Sick of all these things buzzing around her. She was so sick of everything. She had never hated the Capitol more than now, even when her mother died.
Starla clenched her fists. She was sick of the Capitol. Sick of the games. Sick of all these things buzzing around her. She was so sick of everything. She had never hated the Capitol more than now, even when her mother died.
Petra noticed Starla's look of frustration. "Hey." She said quietly. "Just think of this: the Capital is trying to get us to turn against each other and die, but they're failing. We're showing them, in our own small way, that nothing they throw at us can break us down!"
She shook her head. "No... When you go in the games, a part of you dies. They kill more than just a person. They kill a soul..." She gave her a cold stare. "They say there is a winner, but no one wins."
Petra bowed her head in acknowledgment. She didn't speak, although she did agree.
Silver turned white. "Guys?..." Silver pointed to her hair. She gulped. Stay calm. Don't panic. Don't panic!
"oh my gosh!" Petra exclaimed in quiet exasperation. She pulled her empty water bottle from her back pack, tiptoeing over to Silver. "This might hurt." She whispered, and brought the bottle down as hard as she could. The TJ got squished.
((Sorry if you sustained injuries from that!))
((Sorry if you sustained injuries from that!))
Starla hardly realized what was happening. She just knew there were TJs everywhere and the Capital was watching them. Always. They were always watching them...
Her anger boiled.
Her anger boiled.
"Couldn't they pick on the others for once," Eliane exclaimed, not noticing the one on the bag since she was paying attention to everyone else.
Starla's knuckles whitened as she clenched her scythe and sword. The sides of her vision was turning red. Her breathing was be coming forced. She just glared at a tree with so much anger it could have burst into flames.
Starla's so mad she swung her scythe slicing the bird in half. In pure rage, she stabs it with her sword, even though it is already dead. She stumbled back as she realized what she was doing. She dropped her weapons. Silent tears were going down her cheeks. "Capitol... Mom... Games... Kids..." She was frantically talking in jagged breaths.
"Thanks." Silver whispered to Petra. Silver was still in Fight or Flight mode so she didn't feel any pain. Silver walked over to Starla and sat next to her. Silver began to message her back while whispering to her, "It's okay, I'm here. Take deep breaths. Come on, slow down your breathing." She kept saying that over and over in a soothing voice.
Starla just hugged her and sobbed in her shoulder. "Why can't they just kill us?"
Petra stood, watching numbly. She bit her lip, eyes burning. Starla had a good point, why we're they just not killed immediately? The capital was so sick.
