Author with 8,000 quotes - policy question and duplicates

This author seems to have an excessive number of quotes - 8,000 - which are mostly not liked by anyone or only be a single person - is this considered outside of what is a notable set of quotes?

Many seem to be duplicate or almost identical, eg search for author's name and 'conquer', 'fear' - combine quotes will not load since it times out.

Can GR staff or superlibriarians suggest what to do?

If browsing inspirational or motivational quotes then readers get swamped by the volume from this author, with many new ones appearing daily.
