Anyone else going for 50+ books this summer?

I feel like I'm the only person I know who reads fast/reads a lot of books. I've set my 4 month summer reading goal at 60 books (15 a month) and was wondering if there are any other crazies out there doing this with me?

I'm a children's librarian, so I set my goal at 50 right now. I will probably up it later, because there are so many books I want to read!

Wow! I'm happy if I read 50 books in a year! I am both a slow reader and a distracted reader...good for you guys! My goal is 16 for the four months...a book a week is good for me. :)

I'm with Michelle--50 books would be an amazing yearly goal for me, but, realistically I've pick 15 books for the 4 months. I'm hopeful I'll get a few more in. Nothing better than reading in the summer!!

I probably can't read that much this summer. With internships and studying, there's barely any time at all. :(

My goal is 50 books, but I am not sure I'll do it -> I read only in English and I read slow because it's not my native language.

I set my goal for 35. That's about 2 books a week. I should go read now, lol :)

Hi y'all! So cool to see a group here for this! :)

I joined the challenge, and am aiming for 75 books. This isn't a stretch for me, my normal book reading per month is 15-20, though the last 8 or so months it's been on the lower side of that, more like 12-16. But with this, and the Bout of Books, I'm confidant I'll easily hit my goal. :)

Glad to see there are others who want to read as much! I'll be rooting for ya!

I feel like I'm falling a bit behind already. Been getting everything ready for my son and daughter's baptism this coming Saturday and have been crazy busy. I'm shooting for 10 books during BoB though (insane, I know!) so that should get me caught up nicely.

I could probably do 50 in a perfect setting, if life stays calm, but with the kids being off for summer, I figured I would aim a little lower. I set mine for 25 officially, but hoping to do at least 40 or more.

I surpassed my goal of 75 on July 19th. I'm at 84 now, so I will at least hit 100 by the end of Sep.

Wow! We actually had a crisis where I had to sell off over half of my books :'( It was so sad and still is. I haven't gotten much reading done at all and no blogging at all. I'm doing BOB 11 though, so maybe I'll get some read.
