Marla | 4827 comments Pay it Forward Reading Adventure

Started as Bonfire -> Under the Big Top

How this works
Each person posting will "pay it forward" by agreeing to read the book posted by the last member, and posting a book that they loved reading for the next person to post.

Rules

This is open to all Cabins that want to participate :)

Must follow cAAMP book qualifications

You must have read the book you are recommending and given it a 4 star rating or higher.

For books in a series you need to post book 1. If the next person has already read book 1, they can move on to any book in that series.

When you post, you are agreeing to read the book :D

Please update your post when you have read the book, include your rating and a mini-review (a few sentences is fine).

If you have already read the book posted before you, then just "compare books" with that person (instructions under spoiler) and chose another book from their shelves.
(view spoiler)

You can "play" as many times as you like. Once you have read the book given to you, just come back with a new post to read another book and "pay it forward" with another book you loved!

I read Game (Jasper Dent, #2) by Barry Lyga for my pay it forward book and it was excellent...except for the cliffhanger ending, so I now have to read the next one!
Game by Barry Lyga (5/11/16)

I don't think I've suggested a book to pay it forward.

I've read 2 books that I couldn't put down last week...
Rot & Ruin (Rot & Ruin, #1) by Jonathan Maberry
great character driven zombie book

or

The Surgeon (Rizzoli & Isles, #1) by Tess Gerritsen
serial killer on the loose

I pick Nefertiti's Heart (Artifact Hunters, #1) by A.W. Exley for my next Pay It Forward book.

And I suggest Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden one of my all-time favorite books.

It was a great book! Thanks for the recommendation. I am looking forward to the next book.

Marla | 4827 comments Pay It Forward book ~ Round 3
Read: 11/9/16

Okay, I am going to pick Secrets of a Summer Night (Wallflowers, #1) by Lisa Kleypas and pay it forward with The Godwulf Manuscript (Spenser, #1) by Robert B. Parker . An old-fashioned style mystery set in Boston. (I may have been influenced by the fact that I was in Boston coincidentally when I was reading this book.)

Finished Secrets of a Summer Night (Wallflowers, #1) by Lisa Kleypas ✯✯✯✯
Thanks for the recommendation, I enjoyed it!

Marla | 4827 comments Pay It Forward book ~ Round 4
Read: 2/20/17

I'll take romantic suspense Untraceable (Tracers, #1) by Laura Griffin , but I haven't had much luck of people picking my book, so I'll replace it with another romantic suspense Don't Tell (Romantic Suspense, #1; Chicago, #1) by Karen Rose

Finished Untraceable (Tracers, #1) by Laura Griffin ✯✯✯
Enjoyed it, thanks for the suggestion.
