Faith Ledger Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, by J.K. Rowling

"He let out a gasp of pain. The words had appeared on the parch- ment in what appeared to be shining red ink. At the same time, the words had appeared on the back of Harry’s right hand, cut into his skin as though traced there by a scalpel — yet even as he stared at the shining cut, the skin healed over again, leaving the place where it had been slightly redder than before but quite smooth. Harry looked around at Umbridge. She was watching him, her wide, toadlike mouth stretched in a smile."

This quote shows how awful Umbridge really is. She gives hem cruel punishments that aren't even legal.

So far Harry has been in school for about a month I would say. The Order of the Phoenix is still meeting at Sirius' house. Harry was almost expelled from Howarts because he did underage wizardry in front of a muggle. He did the Patronus Charm to protect himself and Dudley from two dementors. He went on trial, but with the help of Dumbledore, got off without any charges. Dolores Umbridge is now the Defense against the Dark Arts teacher, and seeming to be quite evil.

Right now the book is a bit slow going, but I think it will pick up the pace if Voldemort comes up any time soon. I am currently about 350 pages in, so hopefully some action will be coming up soon.

I'm now about 750 pages in and it's beginning to have a bit more action in it. I feel as though a lot is going to happen in the last 100 or so pages that I have left.

Mihika Book is gr8. I finished the whole series. Order of the Phoenix is a slow book because it reveals most of the secrets...
