How can you read one book but not finish it? :p

I hope to get my next one finished tomorrow.

ɑƨħŵɑɡ ♥Team Magnus Damora FOREVER♥ (unheard) | 2402 comments I finished a short book i'll post the review once I finish OQ

Irena BookDustMagic | 1344 comments I meant for those two members who still haven't posted their reviews, maybe they finished a book but did't review it yet.

I always try to review my books ASAP, hence why they're not very long haha.

Katrina G | 4635 comments I get your point about team Philadelphia, but I really don't think it's that big of a problem. When I don't have school, I can easily read 2 or 3 books in a day, which I was lucky enough to do on the first day of this challenge. I know my usual speed of reading right now puts me in the medium team, but I periodically go through times where I can get 8-12 books down in one week, and then some. It could just be that Adriana is having a massively good week like that, and she wasn't expecting to

Katrina G | 4635 comments But in the mean time, I'll take a break from Game of Thrones and read some shorter books to try to get our points up

Heather | 10157 comments After I finished the last half of November 9 I got put into a reading slump and I'm not quite out of the woods of it yet but, i'm trying!

ɑƨħŵɑɡ ♥Team Magnus Damora FOREVER♥ (unheard) | 2402 comments I agree with you Katrina.. Good reading pace can come unexpectedly and one can't be blamed .. We just have to work harder ☺️ we can definitely do it!

I'll really be pushing The 5th Wave, Heather. I'll need to read it rather quickly, hopefully starting tomorrow or Saturday, because then I need to read another 1-3 books tagged circus for another challenge in a week, starting on the 10th I think. So I'll be seriously pushed for time. At least on Sunday I can read for a few hours after work.

Hey Tayane, are we able to make Never Never on or after the 17th? I'm not going to make it on the 11th. I've got to finish my current book (39% through which'll take me a while), start and finish The 5th Wave by the 12th at the latest, and then read the first 3 books in the Saga of Darren Shan by the 17th. That'll be such a squeeze, I'm not sure when I'll be able to get to this, so when was the next available date after the 17th?

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53787 comments Mod
Added A Living Nightmare (Cirque Du Freak, #1) by Darren Shan The Vampire's Assistant (Cirque Du Freak, #2) by Darren Shan Tunnels of Blood (Cirque Du Freak, #3) by Darren Shan to my shelf.

Irena BookDustMagic | 1344 comments After 15th I will have free days (ok, we'll do some work around the house but that is not that big of the deal) so I will read more then.
I will also participate in BR so I hope that the other half of April will be better for us.

Im reading Pride and Prejudice now but that book can easily put me into reading slump so I'll just read 25 pages of it every day so I can finish it by the end of the month, but I'll read other books beside it because I feel like if I read only Pride and Prejudice I wouldn't read that much...

Yeah i have a holiday after the 15th as well.

Quick question. Even though I'm reading the bound edition of those three books, can I count them all as individual books, seeing as I'm actually reading the same words as I would be if they were 3 separate books?

Irena BookDustMagic | 1344 comments I think you can!
That's what ppl did in series challenge, but you can ask Sarah just in case.

message 168: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53787 comments Mod
Okay cool. Just wondering because in one challenge the bound edition is worth more points, whereas here the three separate books count for more.

message 169: by [deleted user] (new)

Could it be the 18th then? I'll try to change the date.

message 170: by Heather (new)

Heather | 10157 comments Maddison you can read it and start posting topics and I will join in! I haven't had a day off work or school in 5 days so I haven't been able to read as much. I will try my best to start today.

ɑƨħŵɑɡ ♥Team Magnus Damora FOREVER♥ (unheard) | 2402 comments posted my two reviews .. I'm starting Map of Fates (The Conspiracy of Us, #2) by Maggie Hall I'll try to finish it today

I'm not too sure where to make the thread, so could you do that?

And I saw this question posted: I have a quick question. If you BR a book over 450 pages do you get 4 points or 2?

And Sarah said 4, so we would both get 5 points, 4 for the BR and then one for the book?

message 173: by [deleted user] (new)

I did it :) The link is the same.

message 174: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53787 comments Mod
I'm hoping to get to The 5th Wave tomorrow, if I'm lucky.

Irena BookDustMagic | 1344 comments @Maddison: you won't get 5points but 4 - 2 for review and 2 For buddy read - that summs 4.

I believe it would be 4 all together. 1 point for reading, 1 point for it being over 450, 1 point for the buddy, and a bonus buddy point for it being over 450

message 177: by Katrina G (new)

Katrina G | 4635 comments I'm getting ready to start a buddy read, so that will help us with some more points

message 178: by [deleted user] (new)

I expect to finish The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey tonight and I'll try to read some books from the BRs list to get us more points, starting tomorrow.

message 179: by Katrina G (new)

Katrina G | 4635 comments It seems like we've picked up the pace a little, so I still have hope that we'll catch up to Philadelphia

message 180: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53787 comments Mod
Yeah I saw that Abbie clarified that. Thanks :) That would do us really nicely, an extra 8 points from Heather and I reading one book each haha.

message 181: by Katrina G (new)

Katrina G | 4635 comments I think that would only leave them a few points ahead of us lol. I think doing a lot of buddy reads is the only way we'll surpass them lol

Irena BookDustMagic | 1344 comments I'm doing buddy read as soon as I have free days, from 15th on.
