Aelic listened to the conversation silently, as still as a statue and blending into the shadows. Erwin was back to normal and seemed genuinely contrite, something that earned him a point in Aelic's books (though not enough to make up for the points docked a few seconds ago). What intrigued him was that the others seemed completely relaxed. As if they experienced this regularly and it had ceased to faze them long ago. That's when he realised, it was probably true. Sometimes he forgot that these people weren't as unknown to them as they were to him. Forcing himself to retract his fangs, he crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, content to watch.
"I guess you are right. Incurring the wrath of a spider is not on the agenda today but getting you lord clean is and as a special games treat we have shampoo for the twins." Erwin smirked and the twins nodded.
"I like the shampoo it stops my tail from matting." Aelin nodded. "Who's first?"
"You are since your injured lets go snow and Huntsman you know you will have to stay there right." Petra asked and commanded at the same time.
"Of course. Incurring the wrath of eyebrows is not on the agenda today." Rowan said with a shrug helping his sister to the door and walking to the back of the cell.

Aelic smiled softly as the mention of shampoo brought happiness to Aelin. Something so simple and often under appreciated, was bringing the twins happiness. He liked that they had game treats, if only for the fact that the twins were looked after physically. He smiled even more at Rowan's snarky words, amusement evident. That boy could be as sharp as a tack at times. 'See you soon Snow.' He called softly as Aelin left her cell with Erwin and Petra to go upstairs to the bath.
"Do you even know what you just said Huntsman?" Levi asked and Rowan shrugged.
"I know that it was a good thing but if incurring means to bring on I know what wrath is because you always say to watch out for sisters wrath. I don't know agenda though." Rowan mused.
"It means plan. So the agenda today is take it easy and let Snow rest." Levi explained and Rowan nodded.
"Did you notice her breathing?" Rowan asked looking at Levi.
"Yeah it's ragged but she is trying to bring it under control. Move her hammock for her so it's closer to me. I will keep an eye on her." Levi frowned.
"You should move yours since your on the other side of your cell too." Rowan said takin down Aelins hammock and moving it closer to the centre line.

Aelic smiled more genuinely at Levi and Rowan's conversation. Rowan's knowledge is so sporadic, its quite funny. His smile faded to a worried frown as they talked about Aelin's injuries. Apparently, she was not as healed as she wanted them all to believe. 'This isn't a set back is it? She is healing correctly yes?' He asked worried.
"She'll be fine. Shes just trying to catch her breath which is much harder when your ribs are broken." Rowan shrugged re hanging her hammock.
"Especially where they are broken. The ribs on her left side just below the pectoral muscle are broken." Levi explained taking down his hammock and moving closer to the centre line.

'I see....' Aelic said, remembering back to all the medical, anatomy and physiology books he had read. 'How long is the estimated recovery time?' He asked, unsure how much a Cursed accelerated healing sped the process in comparison to normal humans.
"It depends a week, four weeks. It all comes down to how well she is fed and how well she I'd cared for." Levi shrugged hanging his hammock carefully as Rowan frowned.
"Why are you two moving the beds?" Petra asked walking as Erwin carried Aelin.
"I can walk by myself Eyebrows." Aelin stated with a frown on her face.
"Yeah not fast enough and Susan will blame me enough for your ribs I don't want my ear bitten off because I made you walk on a sprained ankle." Erwin sighed. "Right Huntsman I will hand you Snow and you will put her down then come for a bath ok." He commanded and Rowan nodded standing at the door of Aelins cells as Petra opened it. Rowan carefully took Aelin from Erwin and set her down on the hammock before walking away with Erwin and Petra.

Aelic nodded, thinking. So, factoring in the good food yet shitty other conditions (i.e. In a cell and what not), probably about 3-4 weeks (leaning more towards 3 but still depending). Aelic sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose. This officially sucked.
He perked up when he heard Petra and Erwin walk in, and couldn't help but grin wickedly at the pouting Aelin being carried bridal style. He was pleased by their care (Erwin's explanation was true but didn't factor in his own care) and found it simultaneously hilarious considering the girl's stubborn tough streak. He could only imagine the fight Erwin would have had to put up with at the beginning. The snake nodded goodbye at Rowan and then turned to the fidgeting Aelin once more. 'Squeaky clean now Snow?' He asked in a teasing manner.

"Why am I on the wrong side of the room?" She snapped throwing her hands into the air.
"For ease in brushing your hair and just so we can keep a closer eye on each other." Levi explained as he started brushing her hair as she crossed her arms in a huff and a pout.
"I don't like it you could have told me before hand." She grumbled falling back as Levi pulled on her hair so he could brush the top of her head with a smirk on his face. "No fair." She whined.
Time continued to trickle slowly as five days had passed and Aelin was denied food by a different guard to Erwin and Petra in the morning as well as at lunch. Levi and Rowan had managed to save every small amounts of food for her and slipped it to her through the bars as best they could with out being noticed. "I had days like today." She sighed before she sat down in the furthest corner of her cell in a lazy posture. Rowan and Levi simply nodded and sat down in the respective ways. Levi from the roof, Rowan on his hammock cleaning and checking his claws. A few guards walked in led by Erwin who opened Aelins caged and three guards walked into her cell pulling her forward and forcing her to the ground and tying a muzzle around her face that had previously been soaked in blood. Vials of clear liquid where smashed on the ground near her head but she remained still. She did not fight for it would only make things worse for her. Rowan and Levi tried their best to not show any emotion but when they chained Aelin and she lost control Rowan snapped and raked his claws down the first guard he could reach and he knew that, that man would be cripple. The others simply moved on forcing the animalistic Aelin to was the arena where she would fight soon as she struggled snapped and growled. Erwin picked up the now unconscious man from the ground and left with a small sigh.

((Present for Amanda!))
Aelic laughed as Aelin whined and settled in once more, being soothed by the mundane chatter of his friends.
As the days past the guards gave Aelin less and less food, until she was denied all together. It made rage boil in Aelic's stomach. Inadequate fools! Did they want her healing to be slow! Did they want her to die at the next fight! They all tried to pass her as much food as they could, but it was difficult. Then the day of the fight arrived. The others were lazing around, yet there was an unaddressed tension in the air that made him want to hiss. Erwin led them in, his face black yet pale. The guards behind him smirking viciously, a blood soaked muzzle swinging from one man's grasp. Aelic stayed where he was, cross-legged on the floor, face black and eyes cold. No one else could see the tension in his body or the black hatred in his mind. He did nothing as they pushed her to the ground, did nothing as they tied the muzzle around her face, did nothing as they smashed vials of liquid near her head. It was only when they chained her and both twins lost control that the snake allowed a deadly hiss to fill the air, almost unheard over the snarls of the twins. Aelic grinned with a dark savagery as Rowan's claws ripped a guard apart. He deserved more, but at least it was something. Standing up smoothly, Aelic walked to the front of his cell to track Aelin's progress to the arena, ignoring everyone else and just praying that she would win this fight to.

"Welcome the Red Queen." The announcer shouted as they threw Aelin into the ring after removing the muzzle and chains. She landed on all fours and started creeping slowly. She was more terrifying to watch over her brother and this next cursed would no doubt die a bloody and brutal death. They opened the gets again and the child came out. This was no child though but a young man clearly strong armed with two knives ready to try tearing the champion apart. "The excitement is so thick you could cut it with a knife."
"More like tension." Levi muttered etching the match as Rowan sat down facing away.
"Tell me when the boy has been disembowelled." He muttered closing his eyes and leaning back. The cursed man smirked lightly.
"So this is your queen. She is nothing that the Ox could not defeat." He said cockily not knowing the sealed fate for him. Aelin growled turning to face him as she watched with unseeing eyes. The fight was on it was simply a case of who moved first and for once the fox inside Aelin lost patience before the victim and Aelin was the first to attack.

Aelic watched as Aelin crept around the edge of the arena on all fours. She was well and truly gone, that was for sure. There was no reason, no remorse in her eyes. Only animalistic fear and bloodlust. This fight would be quick and gory. He understood perfectly why Rowan didn't want to watch. As the young man entered through the opposite doors, Aelic's quick eyes took in both the Cursed's knives and strength, and his cocky smile. He doesn't have a chance, Aelic thought to himself, sighing both at the man's foolishness and at the soul destroying remorse Aelin would feel once this fight was over. They took their places, tension skyrocketing. Who would move first? Who would begin this deadly dance? The one who will end it, was also the one who started it. Aelin twitched and then leapt, claws and fangs extended.

The man slashed out with his knives one glancing the champions arm tearing the jacket and shirt but only grazing the skin beneath as she dodged the other by defecting his arm with her hand and breaking his wrist then punching him in the throat with an open fist. He screamed in pain before slashing at her again this time getting her side getting a much deeper wound. She hissed and jumped back holding her side tightly resting on three limbs. He then threw the knife in his hand at her in hopes to embed it into her person but she dodged at the last possible moment and it ended up of the other side of the arena embedding into the wall behind Aelin. Taking her chance she ran up to him stepping on the dropped knife and slicing the arch on her foot not that she noticed the pain as she raked her claws down his front as he managed to kick her in the wounded side causing her to stumble back slightly. Her side and pants were quickly soaking in blood and the floor pooled with blood from the cut in her foot but she manage to stay still almost like a statute. The other man was busy trying to keeps his guts inside as she turned and ran before pouncing onto his back and biting the back of his neck hard wher a loud snap could be heard before he feel limp. The guards entered the arena slowly trying to get Aelin back to her cell with further injury.
"He's dead Huntsman." Levi said and Rowan nodded wrapped his hand around one of the bars and started tapping the bar with the end of his claw. The guards had managed to get Aelin most of the way back before her legs went weak falling out from under her and she could bearly move. She then soon passed out and Petra appeared pressing on the wound before tying a large cloth around her side and telling on the guards to carry Aelin upstairs.
"Snow is with Petra her wounds look serious." Levi sighed before he sat down and buried his head in his hands. Rowan got up and lay down in his hammock with an arm behind his head.
"Her knife wounds alway look serious." He muttered closing his eyes still looking tense.

Aelic watched the fight with bated breath. His face was cold and impassive, but he couldn't stop himself from minutely flinching when Aelin was hurt. It was hard to keep up this façade, but he knew it was needed, for all their sake's. He knew she would win, but the fight was still horrible to watch, both because of it's gruesome nature and the tiny doubt that she may fail. Prison indeed; this place was aptly named. Though Hell probably would have worked better. As the opponent finally fell and Aelin was left victorious, Aelic let out a tiny breath. Levi and Rowan too seemed to relax slightly. However they all knew that the worse was yet to come. For them, the fight had only just begun. As the guards tried to corral a badly bleeding Aelin into her cell, Aelic almost screamed at their stupidity. Those fools!! She is evidently going into shock from severe blood loss! Do you want to lose your champion?! Do something! Finally, the poor girl passed out, alerting the idiotic guards to her plight and summoning Petra. Aelic bit his lip as Levi verbally confirmed his thoughts as to the severity of her wounds, and mirrored Rowan by climbing into his hammock (he was sick of sitting on the floor). 'She will get through this. She always has.' He said to the others, trying his hardest to help them although he himself was equally shaken and tense.
"Captain prepare yourself your fight is next." Rowan muttered and Levi sighed.
"Your right it is but right now I am more concerned with Snow. From what I saw we will have to calm her when she wakes." Levi said leaning back against the bars to Aelin's cell.
"Let my sister return first Captain." Rowan sighed.
"That will be some time yet you rest I will take this watch. Petra will want me to know how to care for Snow since we are in neighbouring cells." Levi said watching Rowan.
"Like that's going to happen." Rowan muttered opening his eyes where no emotion lay it was now you could see that Levi and Rowan were related but it was still clear the Rowan took after someone else.

Aelic listened at the others talked, rolling his eyes at their predictable responses (all emotion driven). He respected both of their opinions, but right now, he was the voice of logic and reason. 'You should both sleep. I will keep watch. 88, I will tell Petra to explain everything to me and relay it all to you when you awake.' He said succinctly, urging Levi to see the logic of his argument. 'You will need rest for what's to come.'
"I forgot you were there snake." Levi sighed. "You will tell me word for word what Petra says it so help me I will bite you."
"You have to get him first and I don't think another body on your tally will help." Rowan countered
"I never said I would use my venom huntsman." Levi said smirking at Rowans confused look as he tried to figure it out.
"What's the point then?" Rowan asked sitting up.
"It will cause pain but not kill him. I don't want him dead yet." Levi sighed before standing up and stretching.
"You make no sense sometimes." Rowan muttered before laying down and turn away from Levi. Levi simply sighed again before going to bed him self.

Aelic simply laughed, understanding perfectly where Levi was coming from. With a quick acceptance of the terms, he jumped back out of his hammock to assume his watch position, the sounds of deep breathing his background music. As the hours passed, the other two slept on. Aelic wandered around his cell, keeping awake and routinely stretching out his senses to confirm that all his friends still lived. Finally, Petra and Erwin's heat signatures began to approach, carrying Aelin with them. She had made it. As the door slowly opened, Aelic watched as Erwin slipped in carrying a sleeping Aelin, quickly followed by Petra. They methodically opened up her cell and placed her in her hammock, making sure the still sleeping girl was comfortable before slipping out. As Petra looked towards Levi and opened her mouth to wake him, Aelic stepped forward and interrupted her. 'Petra.' He called quietly, stopping the woman from waking the spider. 'Let him sleep. Explain everything to me. I shall relay the instructions when he awakes.'
"She has lost a lot of blood and it looks like Ariel is still in control. Try to keep her calm and try not to let her move to much. I have to repair her shirt and jacket so encourage her to keep her coat on to keep her warm." Petra said watching Erwin carefully.
"I could have prevented this." He sighed and Petra put a hand on his shoulder.
"You know it would have done no good. Captain, Huntsman and Snow White all prefer that they fight instead of the innocent children." Petra said taking Ereins arm and pulling him away. "If anything goes wrong like snow falls out of bed or something call out Eld and Gunther are on watch tonight and tomorrow and they both have minor medical training."

"If anything goes wrong like snow falls out of bed or something call out Eld and Gunther are on watch tonight and tomorrow and they both have minor medical training."
Aelic nodded, dutifully memorising everything Petra said word for word so as to repeat the instructions to Levi later. It will be very interesting when Aelin awakes, especially if Ariel is still in control. He thought to himself, half ignoring Erwin's self-blaming words. He had never spoken to any other god bar Adalinda and was very much intrigued by the prospect. Focusing back on the conversation, Aelic rewound the last few seconds of speech to make sure he hadn't missed anything (he hadn't, just stuff he already knew - that they prefer to fight to spare the innocent etc). He called out a quick thank you as the couple left, quickly memorising the two heat signatures belonging to Eld and Gunther before settling back in to watch over his sleeping companions, keeping an especially close eye on Aelin.
Rowan woke with a start from the simple nightmare of losing his sister to the games. He sat up panting slightly and looked to her cell seeing Aelin asleep in her cell.
"What did Petra say?" He asked Aelic as he got up and walked closer to the centre line.
"What did Petra say?" He asked Aelic as he got up and walked closer to the centre line.
Aelic watched as Rowan's sleep got more and more disturbed and so, was not surprised when he shot awake, wide eyed and panting. So as to give the other some privacy, he looked in the opposite direction, pretending not to notice the boy's sudden surge to consciousness. As Rowan calmed himself and got up, Aelic turned to face him, quickly bringing up Petra's instructions in his mind and repeating them word for word, even making sure the intonation was correct. 'Neither your sister nor 88 have awoken yet. Let us try to keep it like that for as long as possible.' He tacked on at the end, knowing that Rowan would understand his reasoning behind it.
"You should get some rest though snake. Sister isn't going anywhere and I can wake you when Captain wakes." Rowan stated as he streched his joints cracking as he did so.
Aelic hesitated a fraction, half of him wanting to continue keeping watch with Rowan so as to keep his friends safe. However, the other half of him knew that he had had the most watches out of all of them and his energy could only last for so long. Even now he could feel tiredness slowing his thoughts and dulling his senses. Smiling a little, Aelic nodded his assent. 'Thank you Huntsman.' Rubbing his eyes sleepily, he clambered into the hammock and, as his breathing and heartbeat slowed to an almost imperceptible level, he slipped into sleep.
Rowan paced around his cell and Eld and Gunther walked in and bought his a glass of water leaving one for Levi as well. "Surprised your both not watching Snow White tonight Huntsman." Eld whispered and Rowan shrugged.
"Captain needs his rest and the snake has been sharing some of the load with the watch." Rowan whispered back and the two guards nodded in understanding.
"You know to call us if you need anything right?" Gunther asked and Rowan nodded. "Good if you need us we will be playing cards down the hall."

Aelic slept on, unheeding of the two guards talking to his friend. In his dreams Adalinda curled around his shoulders, whispering words of comfort. He smiled in his sleep and curled tighter, like a snake coiling in the midmorning sun.
((Umm..sorry! I wasn't sure how to respond. He is sleeping!))
((Umm..sorry! I wasn't sure how to respond. He is sleeping!))
Rowan watched for a few more hours till Levi woke up slowly much different to his usual I've been up for hours look and feel. He watched as Levi looked around saw Aelin and nodded slowly like all was right with the world before he did a double take and looked back at Aelin.
"She's pale." Levi sighed looking at her sleeping form. She had been delicately laid down with her hands on her stomach and legs straight. Her long hair had been swept to the side and her breathing was shallow.
"She is always pale Captain." Rowan responded and Levi nodded.
"Paler than usual Huntsman. I wonder how long it will take." Levi muttered looking at Rowan before turning back to Aelin. He carefully reached through the bars and started to rock her hammock lightly just as you would a sleeping infant.
"Who knows she lost a lot of blood." Rowan said before reaching through his bars to wake Aelic.

The persistent shaking and poking from Rowan finally dragged Aelic back into the waking world. Hissing sleepily, he yawned, fangs flashing. With another yawn he blinked his eyes open, bright emerald green locking on to Rowan's own blood red. It took a few seconds (and a few blinks), before it filtered through who he was staring at. 'Mmm?' He questioned, wondering why his friend dragged him from his sleep.
((Sleepy Aelic is an idiot))
((Sleepy Aelic is an idiot))
"Tell Captain what Petra said then you can go back to sleep snake." Rowan commanded after waking the snake with much poking and trying not to scratch the snake with his claws.
Aelic blinked a little as the information filtered through, then he sat up abruptly. Locking his half-closed eyes on Levi's he dutifully repeated everything Petra said word for word and her accompanying intonation. Once finished he nodded once with a sleepy smile on his face before curling back up into a ball and seemingly falling asleep once more.
"You know she wont keep her coat on." Levi said watching as the snake fell back asleep almost instantly. It was on of the few times that Levi knew he could still feel envy.
"I now but Petra said that we must try to get her to keep it on." Rowan shrugged leaning his forearms against the bars.
"I wonder how long you have till you get to spend time with her." Levi said watching the world go by.
"I now but Petra said that we must try to get her to keep it on." Rowan shrugged leaning his forearms against the bars.
"I wonder how long you have till you get to spend time with her." Levi said watching the world go by.
Aelic wasn't completely asleep, just in that weird state of half awake and half asleep; dozing almost. As the others talked, he frowned (eyes still closed etc mind you). Whilst he couldn't remember why it was a bad thing Aelin wouldn't keep her coat on, he just knew it was bad. The fact that it would hurt her made him sad, and he pouted. '....Nnooo.....bad.....keep coat on....Keep warm.' He mumbled in Aelin's direction, nodding again happily at the belief that she had been thoroughly told off.
"She's still asleep snake." Rowan growled sounding insulted for her. Levi sat down watching Aelin eyebrow raising slightly as he thought he saw movement in her face. As he looked closer he saw she put on a frown and parted her closed lips slightly.
"Not for long I don't think. She's frowning and has opened her mouth." Levi said watching her before pressing the back of two fingers under his nose. "And her breath smells like blood and I can see flesh in her teeth lovely." He said getting up and walking away.

The fact that Aelin was asleep was of no consequence to the sleepy boy. In his mind, she had heard him and understood so know more needed to be said on the matter. Shuffling, Aelic turned over in his hammock so he was facing away from his growling neighbour, before settling back in. '....Squishy squishy...' he said at Levi's words, words muffled by the hammock and his long hair which had wrapped around his neck like a scarf, the green tips tickling his nose a little.
"I don't get you sometimes Captain. One minute your fine with blood and dirt the next your run away from it like a child runs from a spider or wolf." Rowan said frowning in confusion as he too watched his sister hearing the softest of groans pass her lips as she struggled to wake.
"I like things clean ok and what are you doing huntsman?" Levi asked as he watched the boy stalk over to the centre line and reach through the bars as he too started to look for a distraction from life down here since little had changed in the past decade. Levi watched on as Rowan carefully gripped the edge of the hammock so gently that Levi doubted that even he a spider would feel it and smirked as Rowan pulled down on the edge hard making the hammock spin once with the snake inside before turning upside down and dumping him on the floor. Rowan jumped back and lent against the bars into the hallway resuming to look at his sister Asia nothing had happened at all.

Aelic instinctively tensed and let out a small squeak as he was suddenly wretched from his doze when his hammock spun and then dumped him unceremoniously on the floor, all in the blink of an eye. Shooting up into a sitting position with his eyes wide, he quickly looked around in panic, trying to shake the last remnants of sleep from his mind to find his attacker. As he scanned the room a second time (significantly more awake now), he noticed Rowan leaning against the bars of his cell, the picture of innocence. Innocence?! Yeah right!! 'Huntsman!!' He exclaimed loudly, half angry half exasperated. His annoyance quickly vanished however at Rowan's tiny grin and he let himself flop back onto the floor with all the grace of an elephant. 'Owww....' Aelic moaned with a chuckle, grinning slightly. 'If that's how you wake people up, I am never falling asleep in your presence again.' He said jokingly, running a hand over his face and rubbing sleep from his eyes.
"Hey the spider dumped you in the rafters so I think what happened to you was not as bad." Rowan responded not admitting to the crime. His ears twitched as Eld and Gunther walked back in carrying food for them all. "Ah good morning captain. Sleep well?" Eld asked passing Levi the parcel of food.
"No we never do down here." Levi responded flatly as Gunther gave Aelic and Rowan their serves before grabbing Elds shoulder.
"Remember what Petra said." He warned and Eld smiled.
"I was being poliet as not to make Captain and Huntsman worry when we enter Snow White's cell." Eld said as he opened Aelins cell as the girl moved her arm so it was hanging out of the hammock.
"Eld be careful Petra warned us about Snow White's guardian." Gunther sighed before following his companion inside where Eld placed the parcel of food and a glass of water on the floor before unclipping Aelins coat and pulling back the left hand side which was facing Levi. Eld pressed on the bandages lightly making sure they did not move before he re-clipped the coat back on and tucked Aelins arms underneath it.
"Let's report to Petra now Gunther." Eld said shooing his fellow guard out and locking the cell door behind them. Once they had gone well out of ear shoot Aelin groaned loudly and in a rather high pitch making the boys turn their heads to look at her.

Aelic just groaned again at the memory before pushing himself into a sitting position with a sigh. He too had sensed the two guards approaching and slipped back into his cold, aloof mask. Whilst he could relax around Susan and Petra (and a little bit around Erwin), he did not know these guards and did not trust them. Sitting a lotus position, looking as if he had been awake for hours, his sharp emerald snake eyes followed the guards as they approached the cells carrying food. He watched for any sign of an attack as Gunther slid food towards them, but found none. However, that did not mean he lowered his guard. Far from it actually. The moment they opened up Aelin's cell he tensed even further, ready to spring up at a moments notice. Every movement, every twitch was catalogued as they checked the sleeping Aelin's bandages. Seeing that all was well, they clipped her coat back up and promptly left, finally allowing Aelic to finally relax. He was pleased that she was ok, and from the sounds of it, waking up to. Sending a quick look to the other boys he nodded in the waking girl's direction. Aelic knew that she would probably feel more comfortable hearing them when she woke up. However, the thought grated on him for some reason. Although logically he knew that, although they were friends, he could not compare with Levi and Rowan (who were family and had known her since she was born). Regardless, he still wanted to be able to wake her up knowing his voice was so familiar to her that, even in this state, she would be calmed. It was an odd thought, one that he had never had before. After a quick frown, he dismissed it was unimportant, refocusing again on Aelin.
Aelin groaned again but it quickly turned to a growl as Levi quickly grabbed her food and water using his silk to grab it and toss the two empty water cups to Rowan who caught them easily. They watched as Aelin continued to stir before she jumped out of bed growling and landing on all fours tail straight. Rowan watched as his sister creeped around her cell and waved his hand infront of her face in a test. Two quick hand movements to Levi told the man all he needed to know as he pressed a finger to his lips at the snake and Rowan grabbed the snake glass and emptying it before carefully tossing it into Aelins cell. It ratted as it landed making Aelin jump away from it and closer to Levi who used his silk to get closer to her. Frowning Rowan tossed the next cup into her cell but missed as it rebounded and she moved further away from Levi. Rowan took deep breath and tossed the remaining two cups one after the other getting Aelin close enough to Levi who grabbed at her arm but caught a lock of her hair and the champion quickly turned standing holding Levis throat.
Aelic was standing, gripping the bars of his cell as he watched Aelin. Well, that was certainly an unusual awakening! It was evident that Ariel was still in control, and that she was totally panicking. It was hard to do as Levi commanded and keep silent, but he did. He hated seeing Aelin scared and evidently in pain. As Rowan tossed the empty cups and drove the frightened girl back, he caught on to the others plan. Rowan was driving her into Levi's grasp. Whilst he knew that Levi would never hurt her, and was actually trying to stop her from hurting herself, every fibre of his being told him that it was a bad idea. That today, it would go wrong. All throughout this, Aelic had felt Adalinda shift 'closer'. They were always connected but sometimes he could feel her presence more strongly. It was in moments that he needed her the most, because he was lonely, or frightened, or in pain etc, that her presence was strong, almost physical and always directed at him alone. Today however, her attention was not on him, but on Aelin. As Aelin slipped out of Levi's grasp and grabbed the man by the throat, Adalinda surged into his mind, in a way that had only happened a few times in his life. Like this, there was no distinction between the two. Their minds merged, and they thought and acted as one. Knowing what his guardian spirit planned to do, he smiled at her and wished her luck before stepping back, allowing the snake goddess complete control of his body. The other times this had happened it was because something had 'triggered' him, as the twins say. In that state, Adalinda was forced to take control to protect him, but this time he went willingly, knowing that she would protect him and help Aelin. On the outside, only a second had passed and the only indicator that Aelic was not the one in control was the glowing emerald eyes ((and by glowing, I mean glowing! Like a glow stick!)). 'Ariel!' Adalinda called out in Aelic's voice, though with a distinct feminine lilt that Aelic did not have.

"Ariel put my child down." Levi said his words unwavering and not at all different even though his body was quite a height from the ground whilst Aelin growled.
"So I see you two showed up what would Reagan think you beating them here snake?" Aelin hissed dark lines forming on her cheeks like whiskers.
"Regans child won't have a sister to come back to if you harm my child any further he struggles to breathe." Levi sighed sounding slightly feminine crossing his arms and turning his head as his eyes glowed like Aelics. They looked like bottomless black pits that glowed with the souls they had swallowed.
"Ariel please put Captain down." Rowan sighed looking before him seeing the Gods had taken over his family and friends.

Adalinda smiled slightly when Levi's eyes began to glow, and Viola evidently took over. Cocking her/Aelic's hip and leaning against the bars, she watched them, twirling a strand of her/Aelic's long white hair around her finger. Although she looked calm, she was actually analysing it all carefully, so she would know when things got to heated and she needed to step in. All of the goddesses would protect their chosen child above all else. Sometimes however when they were panicked, they lashed out at everyone, making no distinction between friend and foe. Ariel was panicking, and that's why Adalinda came out, to try and calm her before she hurt Levi. Hurting Levi would make Aelin very sad, and subsequently hurt everyone around her (including her own little prince). Viola came out because her child was in danger and was now in the same position as Ariel, wanting to protect her chosen one no matter the implications of hurting a friend. A conundrum indeed! Adalinda hoped her presence would stop blood being shed. Giggling lightly, she tried to imagine Reagans face. It wasn't hard. Like Aelin and Rowan, Ariel and Regan have a close bond that sometimes becomes a bit ridiculous and dismisses reason. If Reagan were here, this would have already become a blood bath (Viola against Ariel and Regan). Watching as Viola lightly threatened Ariel, she could hear Aelic's laughter echoing in the back of her head. Her little child was amused hearing Levi speak in such a feminine, sassy form. It was funny, Adalinda could admit. However, now was not the time to be amused. Levi was having trouble breathing and Viola would attack if Ariel didn't drop him soon. Which would lead to two dead children and two sad children. Even Regan's child Rowan could see that. Adalinda straightened, fixing glowing snake eyes on Aelin's form. 'Ariel, please put Viola's child down. You know what would happen if you two fought.' She said in a calm voice, silently urging the other goddess to see reason.
Ariel half threw half dropped Levi with a loud hiss baring the fangs her child has and clinging to the bars facing the hall. "You could have put my child down nicer Ariel it's not hard." Viola said standing back up and walking closer just out of arms reach. All Aelin did was hiss as Levi walked closer. "Ariel is your child fighting you again?" She asked squatting down.
"She worries for her brother and allies and so I struggle to see but there is little I can do right now." Ariel sighed as Viola quickly lifted the left side of the coat showing the blood soaked bandages.
"Tell my sister that we are fine and trying to help her." Rowan offered showing no regard for the fact he was talking to three gods.
"That looks painful Ariel. Hand here and hand here hold on tight." Viola said taking Ariels hands and wrapping them around the bars before forcing the heel of Levi's hand into Aelins wounded side making Ariel couch for a moment before she pushed him back.
"That hurt both of us Viola now my child is scarred because of you and your short stack of a child hurting her when she thought you would protect her." Ariel screamed looking mighty pissed.
"Ah but you can see me now come on tell me what my child looks like today." Viola sassed making Ariel growl.

Adalinda let out a breath as Ariel finally headed their words and dropped Levi. Phew! Crisis avertwd. Now they just had to deal with the contention between Ariel and Viola, lovely. Although she was trying to stay a passive observer, she couldn't help but smirk at Viola remark; she always had been a sarcastic sassy one. As Ariel explained her continued struggle with Aelin, both Adalinda and Aeclic sighed. Yeah, we should have expected that, they mused to each other, knowingly the personalities involved in such a struggle. They couldn't do anything about it though, that was between goddess and child, so they stayed quiet and watched. Regan's child Rowan tried none the less to help his sister, and they both thought it futile but sweet. Aaaand now Aelin was bleeding, great. As Viola attempted to assess whether or not Aelin's ribs had re-broken, Aelic surged forward and quickly grabbed Adalinda's attention. Connected as they were, she understood immediately but it was to late. Ariel was screaming now and Viola was sassing her back and tensions were rising again and euch. 'Ladies! Please! Ariel, Viola was just trying to focus your mind and check your child wasn't dying. Viola, stop sassing Ariel when she is panicked. Don't you remember the consequences of the last time that happened?!' Adalinda said sternly to the other goddesses, briefly letting her power as a major god shine through her words to force them to listen. 'Calm your minds. Control your actions. Think.'
"Geeza Ada the last time all our children existed at the same time was 700 years ago times change." Viola said waving her hand.
"Yeah and Viola's child is still a short stack." Ariel sighed holding her child's ribs. "You know how my child will react once we release them right?" She asked a Viola nodded.
"Yeah I know but mine is going to be gasping for breath when I return his body to him. He does worry for the twins as well Ariel even after all this time." Viola sighed before looking around.
"I know I know Viola. You have been there since the twins were born I know I was there since my child was there as well!" Ariel screamed and Petra walked down.
"What are you all shouting about?" She asked walking in seeing who she thought was Snow White holding onto one of the bars and hold her ribs. "Oh good morning Snow." She smiled and Viola started laughing sounding like a girl making Petra raise a brown in confusion.

Adalinda just rolled her eyes, though also thought back fondly on that time. Whilst it had ended badly and some parts had been hard, that era had also been quite fun! She smirked at Ariel's remark, silently agreeing with her. Viola's children always were small. Aelic chuckled in the back of her mind, imagining Levi's reaction to being called small (it made her grin to). Thinking about reactions though brought her attention back to the other goddesses conversation. Aelin and Levi's reactions.......yeah, that was not going to be pretty. Both would be panicked and scared and worried for everyone. One was bad enough, but times two......Still, both Adalinda and Aelic knew that they could handle whatever came up, as long as they were together. Egh, Ariel was screaming again. Adalinda thought, pinching the bridge of her nose with a sigh. The other goddess always had been quick to anger and her shouting matches with Regan were legendary amoung the gods. It could get annoying at times, especially now when two humans were approaching (she had sensed there heat signatures long ago, but hadn't said anything). This could be fun though!! With a mischievous smile Adalinda stilled and faded into the shadows, watching as the two humans took no notice of her and instead addressed Ariel and Viola. The silly humans didn't even realise they were in the presence of gods! As Viola's female laughter came out of her child's male body and the human female frowned, Adalinda also laughed, a sharp quick thing. As the humans eyes flicked to her she walked out of the shadows, movements slinky and sensuous. Her child always had a graceful flowing movement, but he never walked like that (sensuous? Pure female). Flicking her hair over her shoulder and narrowing her glowing green snake eyes she slowly scanned every inch of the humans, clearly making them uncomfortable. 'Hello little mouse.' She said, with a smirk, licking her lips and letting her fangs show for extra effect.

"Are you feeling alright Captain? You never laugh and I would never have thought that you would laugh like a girl." Erwin said walking in with a frown not hearing Aelic making Ariel laugh sounding deep and male like.
"So the only girl down here laughs like a man and the oldest and the youngest man laugh like girls." Petra mussed in thought. "Do you laugh like a girl huntsman?"
"Oh my dear little humans the ones you call Captain, Snow White and 21 aren't currently in control over their bodies." Viola gigled holding up Levis hand with a smile.
"So this is what happens when you take over their bodies?" Erwin asked looking confused whilst he watched the three cursed with carefull eyes.
"Only sometimes other times they become the animals they are apart off." Viola sighed and Ariel gave a wicked grin.
"Those times are the best because there is no right and wrong only life and death." Ariel grinned sounding like a man.
"Ariel are you male or female?" Petra asked looking confused.
"What does it matter?" Ariel asked sounding female again. "Would it change how you view my child? Do you view the snake and spider any differently because their guardians are female?"

Adalinda watched as Petra flinched, the humans eyes showing her slight unease and fear. So fun! However, her fun with the human female was not to last as her mate, the male 'Erwin' walked in, clearly not hearing her quiet words to the female. Ah well! 'Petra' quickly turned to her mate and seemingly relaxed, though her gaze often flicked to Adalinda's glowing eyes before quickly moving on to the others. Ariel could see this and laughed, her voice changing to sound more male. Oh wow! These humans were a little bit oblivious! They still thought the children were in control. Adalinda giggled again as Viola explained, their joint laughter echoing off the dungeon walls. Finally! The female had been looking uneasy before but now the spark of fear was undeniable. The male too seemed wary, understanding that they were in the presence of gods. As Ariel spoke, all the goddesses nodded, knowing it to be true. They were gods and thus, whilst they tried to do the right thing, the were not constrained by the social moral codes of humanity. They were also not constrained by human definitions of gender, as explained by Ariel. 'Gender is a human definition. We are gods. We are fluid. Whilst I usually prefer the female form, I have a male form too.' Adalinda explained to the humans, smirking and cocking her head.

"Petra is really helping you stabilise isn't she?" Aelin asked looking ahead blankly.
"Yeah she is and I still struggle." Erwin sighed as Levi patted his shoulder.
"I'm not hurt you grabbed the harness not my actual collar so I was just sitting there chillin." He shrugged with a smirk and Erwin face palmed.
"I could have hurt you." Erwin scowled.
"And risk bringing out Viola? I don't believe you to be that stupid." Levi remarked.
