I'm about 70 pages in. I like it so far. Do you know when part two begins? For some reason I can't find it in my book.

It's just so easy to read and to enjoy. I like how simple yet the writing is, yet you have everything you need

Part 2 is called "with Angels We Fly" and starts with "Day Four, continued". The last title of Part 1 is "What Was It?" It's nearly at the end, about 80% of the book. There's also a Part 3, do you have it?

I'm at 20%; I wanted to finish Shatter Me before this one. I also had to re-read the synopsis before going in, and I think that helped. I'll probably finish it today or tomorrow.

I like how honest the MC is.

I'm at "Answers", in Part 1, about 67% in and I really like Victoria. Thank Goodness Alice is starting to change and giving her a chance. I understand her position, but she didn't even wanted to see her half-sister. She should know where to draw the line.

Also, I thought the snowstorm would have happened way earlier.

Sorry I haven't been posting, but I finished. I agree that I like Victoria. I thought the book would be a lot different than what it was. I wasn't expecting the snowstorm to be like that, and the ending seemed a little abrupt, however, I enjoyed the book.

I also finished it, but I didn't want to talk about the ending in case you were still reading. I agree with you. I expected things to be quite different, especially about the ending. (view spoiler)[ Not necessarily that I wanted someone to die, but I thought everything was too perfect. I first liked that she didn't want to forgive her friend so easily, because what she says it's true: she didn't want to forgive her before the accident, but just because the snowstorm happened, now everything was fine? but then she just did as if nothing had happened. For me that is not very real, but overall it was a good read.. (hide spoiler)]

I agree with you about the best friend. Also, (view spoiler)[I thought that the Blaze was a little too perfect. I kept expecting him to cheat on Alice with her best friend. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I kept expecting for something to happen with him. He seemed so... unreal. I sometimes forgot that she had a boyfriend. For me, his presence wasn't really necessary to the story. And the only time she even mentioned him when she was in the car, was to say how scared she was about her first time with him, but that just came and went.
Also, at one point I thought that the angel was both her mother and Vic, as to simbolize her accepting Vic into the family. (hide spoiler)]

I also (view spoiler)[ thought the angel was Vic, but only because she died. I am actually really suprised she didn't die. I agree that Blaze wasn't necessary for the story. It almost seemed like the fire Alice made did not help at all for the rescue team to find her. (hide spoiler)]

I want to believe that the fire helped her father find her sooner, because if not it was for nothing. They could have searched the car better. I don't live in a snowy country but if I did, I hope I had more emergency equipment, just in case. You can never be too careful. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I was actually just in California, and suprisingly there was snow all along the roads in some parts, however, the roads were completely dry. So, they do keep up the roads there. I also thought it was a dumb idea to try to go along the back roads if she knew there was a snowstorm coming. She should have just stayed on I-5 the whole way. (hide spoiler)]

I agree. I did like the writing, but I think overall the plot could have been developed better.

@Ashlyn Me too. I feel like she focused more on the writing than the plot, and even then, though enjoyable, it wasn't that remarkable.

(view spoiler)[ Also, we mentioned the boyfriend as doing nothing for the story, but I think that the dog didn't either. Although more than the boyfriend, for sure. I liked the whole "He breathed. I breathed" thing, and how she later did it with the baby. (hide spoiler)]
