SOLVED. Poss Fantasy/SciFI - Alien zombie vikings and a char nicknamed Raven [s]

Unfortunately not quite sure if this short series of books is under Fantasy or Sci-Fi.

I read it in the last 5 years, any more than that I can't tell you. I read it as an ebook, and probably via Amazon Unlimited but it's not showing on my amazon records.

I also can't remember how many books there were in the series at the time of writing, sorry. 2 I think but story leaning to more in the series eventually.

Book 1 stars off with the female lead char undercover on a anti-whaling ship/boat. They've come across a nordic whaling vessel and are doing their best to harrass, and the fem lead is recording it all for the government agency she works for to prove shenanigans. The nordic boats gets splattered with poop, but then get bombed by the baddy on the anti whaling vessel who had recorded a message blaming the fem lead. Anti whaling vessel starts to sink, a few survivors make it to nearby land and meet up with the nordic survivors (boat captain and his son who nickname the lead char Raven iirc and who continue into the next book). Unfortunately they open a cairn and let loose an ancient viking vampire/zombie giant, the cause of which is eventually found out to be alien insect things. Lots of fighting zombie giants, incl one with zombie dogs, heroes get rescued and alien insects go into the sea and infect the whales. Book 2 starts with Raven now being unemployed as no one believes her alien queen zombie vampire story (strangely!), but the nordic son and father get her to come with them on a ship to stop alien queen. Lots of zombie whale shenanigans ensue, incl a cruise ship full of alien zombies.

That's about all I can clearly remember. I have tried searching google, amazon, etc for descriptions, or series possibly named Raven but nothing kept coming up apart from XMen stuff, or Moby Dick, or viking god stories, Ymir etc.
