ANNOUNCING the Theme of the Month April 2016

Instead of your moderators coming up with three "themes" for the group to vote on ... we invite YOU to nominate a theme for April. Could be a specific genre, a cover image, a title word, an author initial, or a broader theme.

ONE nomination per member.
To encourage participation the person who nominated LAST month's winning theme cannot nominate this month. So, SouthWestZippy, you won't be able to submit a nomination (though you WILL be able to vote).

Deadline: 25March16 (or 5 nominations, whichever comes first)

Once the nominations are closed, we'll set up a poll for membership to vote on the theme for next month.

Fruit or vegetable on cover or in title
Element of weather in title (e.g. cloud, storm, rain ...)
Food or eating utensil in title or on cover
Having to do with growing things or gardening
Sports equipment on cover

April is a season on changeable weather here - so: some element of weather in the title (cloud, storm, rain, sunshine...)

April flower is the daisy and the sweet pea...a book with a character with the name of a flower.

For April Fool's Day...a book with a character that did something risky or acted foolish.

For Arbor Day...a book with a tree on the cover

A food or an eating utensil mentioned in the title or pictured on the cover.

April showers bring May flowers. Covers having to do with rain, gardening, things that grow, or author/main characters with initials in the phrase.

Or, a book published in April or the book takes place in Spring.

Me too... Sorry:) Professional baseball begins it's season in April...so a book with a ball of some type or a sport's item on the cover.
