I have not seen the screenplay at this point. Any input an author gets to have in a movie is written into their contract. This is why you see authors more involved after the second or third movie. By then they can usually be as involved as they want to be.

We don't have an exact date yet. The best I can say at this time is Fall of 2015.

Absolutely. There's no question about reading and no I don't really feel like it interferes with my writing. Each style is different. I learn from every book I read and every new author I discover.

I would love to come to San Francisco. I am likely not touring officially until fall 2015 but you can always ask your local bookstore to invite me or find out when a local book event or conference is happening and send me a msg about it.

Just curious. How many of your self published editions of Tiger's Curse and Tiger's Quest were made into physical copies? At there not that many out there?
Have you ever thought of making a published novella in rens p.o.v. on some of the scences that happened in the tiger's curse series?

No not too many. My guess is around 300 of each. I have maybe 5 sets left of that number.

I don't really have anyone in mind. It's hard to find someone to fit the look and personality of Ren or Kishan. Did you have any suggestions?

I mean, to do that job, you must refresh your mind and take some inspirations, which is too hard for me. I always wanted to write, but my mind is a really mess. :( And about your career, have you always wanted to be a writer or you tried to do another thing first?

My career was an American Sign Language Interpreter for many, many years. I love working with Deaf people. I became a writer as a hobby at first and when I was layed off from my job, that turned into my full time career. I work much harder now by the way than I ever did at a regular job. Inspiration comes when you look for it. I spend a lot of time on Pinterest and that always gives me new ideas.
Hello Collen,Your series has been a favorite of mine since the day i first picked up Tigers Curse. You must've put in a lot of time and research before even beginning. I'm very excited for your Egypt book and of course the TC movie. I think I can say on behalf of all your readers thank you for all the work you've put into your writing.
I aspire to be a writer myself. I read many books and will continue to do so as that helps to give key insights. However, when I write, I notice that I have trouble painting the picture I want to portray in the minds of my own readers. Do you have any advice on setting that you could give me? That would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for your answer! I was very surprised and amazed when you sad that you worked with deaf people. I adimire you and I wish I could try something like that someday. This kind of work makes we see how life is beautiful and how people are different. I like to talk to you not just because of your books that I love, but because I can learn with you as well. I regret not being able to talk with you on facebook anymore, but I understand. :)

I actually use images a lot as I write. I'm a visual learner so I am an avid pinner on Pinterest. If you haven't tried that yet, I recommend it. A lot of authors use it to find inspiration. That might be something that helps you if you're like me.
