I know about Sophie Thompson playing the role, but I never realized that she's Emma Thompson's sister. It's too bad that Emma Thompson isn't coming back for DH, even though Trelawney doesn't have a major role anyway. I also think Dame Maggie Smith is amazing. I hope we get to see a great Snape vs. McGonagall duel in Part II of DH.
You knowthat Professor Trelawney is played by the lady in Nanny McFee???
Yea.... Just like her in both movies.

Rickman's face is too big and bloated and he is way too old.
I love all of the kids...but as far as favorite adult casting...original Dumbledore and Lucius.

Not many people are as beautiful as authors describe them in books. In books, it is perfection.
Think about the Twighlight series. All of the Vampires are suppposed to be extraordinarily beautiful. Then they bring in the actors and what do we get? Attractive enough vampires. IMO
I expected Fleur to be blonder "sheet of long platinum hair". Poesy is pretty enough, I think. I think they could have spruced her up a bit more, however. But then again, they didn't emphasize her beauty as the book did. She was hardly even a character of importance in the movie.

Yeah Snape looks WAY too old in the movies I personally think.

I know! She seemed nicer then she should have. And her hair was too neat.
