Happy announcement (not book related)!

On occasion, we get to share in the joy of life milestones, and it's always a delight to hear when very happy events happen to our members.

Today, I'd like to share (with his permission) that Charlie Ravioli adopted a beautiful baby boy, Jack Ryan (a nod to Tom Clancy?), on March 8th. Charlie has a gorgeous picture posted in his picture folder here on Goodreads.

I'm not sure how many babies we've had here at PBT since inception, but feel happy each time to know we are bringing a new generation of readers into the world.

I know all of us here at PBT wish him and his wife well. Although I did tell him his reading days may be numbered now . . .

Congratulations!! As an adopted child, it softens my heart a little extra when I hear about families adopting.

There's also some great non-fiction out there on adoption and some over the top non-fiction on adoption so be weary if you're reading on the topic!
