I don't know what to think as to comparative ratings. I still haven't seen our FBI profiler do any profiling. If the group continues, I'll continue for at least a book or two more. Does anyone know if they get better?
Seems to me, if the focus had been on the profiling, Ben might have become an earlier suspect.
This story was better but all the Maggie drama is tiresome. We were told at the beginning she was a hotshot agent. Well, it's time for us to see it.

Yep I am not really impressed with Maggie at the moment. I am hoping the next book is her chance to shine!
Even though I thought the villain in this book was easy to figure out, I liked this book better than the previous books we've read in this series. Maggie and her issues are getting old. If I were the author, I'd feature Tully in this series and put Maggie in the backseat.
I feel the same as all of you. Maggie is a let down. But I have the next book sitting on my shelf so I shall plough on always hopeful:)
It is distracting, Jonetta. I don't know if the author thinks this constant ruminating makes the character more interesting or why she writes Maggie like this. At least it wasn't as bad as the first two books.
This book was one of the best in the series for me, but I agree that there isn't enough focus on Maggie's profiling skills. I recommend hanging in there with the series because some really good twists are coming up.
