Suzi (sbommers) | 33 comments If I were you, I would probably begin with A Good Man Is Hard To Find. It's a collection of short stories rather than a novel, but it's an excellent showcase of O'Connor's talent and covers a much wider range of subject matter than you will find in a novel.

Jay Shelat | 4 comments Flannery O'Connor's work is best read with her first collection. Like the other comments on here, read "A Good Man Is Hard to Find" first. I also suggest "Good Country People." Both exhibit O'Connor's now classic style.
