Has anyone started this yet?

I haven't started the book yet, but has anyone started it? What are some thoughts you have? Did anyone have expectations before reading? What were they?

Yes. So far, the reviews are accurate. Took me the first 100 pages to get into this one. Glad I read reviews and gave it a chance. Could revert back but don't think so.

I really enjoyed it -- it was kind of refreshing having to learn as I read, rather than the usual info-dumping about the world and magic system.

The first half of this book was kind of rough for me. It was slow, and a lot of my questions about basic things (such as the Magic the witches have) were never really answered. But the second half of the book was amazing! I would definitely rad the next book!
