Adele I personally reaaalllllly love it. I love the characters. The views. The visual I get when I read this book. Awesome!!

Monika B (booksnrambles) I'm reading it quite slowly because I just never want it to end. The descriptions of the circus are sooo beautiful. The synopsis on goodreads is very misleading, I think, since there's no "fierce competition". Still enjoying it a lot though. It's quite different from the fast paced plots I usually prefer.

I completely agree, I'm really enjoying the slower pace of this book, and the way it slowly unfolds. Plus the descriptions are so so lovely, I have such a hard time putting it down! It's so different from many of the other books I read, especially due to the way there are small sections written in second person, which is a really unique way to describe the circus to the reader.

Right? I absolutely love the story! The descriptions of everything is so amazing and beautiful. I usually don't like detailed descriptions, but the descriptions in this book are nothing short of amazeballs.

Megan (thebookishgirlinbooktown) | 2 comments It's like I'm walking through the circus myself. It makes me want to wear something scarlet. Also, can we talk about how beautiful the cover art is? One of the most interesting books I've ever read, I have to say.

Britt | 4 comments There's such a beautiful dreamy, almost wandering quality to this book. I totally agree it feels just like walking through the circus itself would: a meandering walk that you know will take you somewhere magical but maybe you're not sure where, and you circle back to some of your favorites to see what they're doing, try new paths for a while before going back to the main one, peeking in on things fantastical and mysterious just for a moment before moving on.

It really compliments the plot of the book in my opinion.
