Now I want to go download any books with good quotes just to try it out!
Interesting... now I might have to start listening thru the audible app... nah... still to buggy for my taste. LOL <><
Sounds a lot easier than my current method of *pause*write or type the best I can remember*back up recording*repeat till I've got the quote*Now I just need a device that can use the app. If it works...

I love the video... but it doesn't really show how to do it.... I've looked all around the app for "Clips" but I don't see it. Maybe it will be on the next update. Is anyone here able to use it yet?
It works on my laptop Win 10 app but I haven't noticed it on my Android app yet.

It didn't work. I copied and pasted it into my browser and it took me to an Audible page to play the clip. It was 6 seconds long and the only that played was the sound "ch".
Edit - I went to your Twitter page and clicked on the link and it worked. BTW I followed you while I was there. @Barron1961
I had to download the app to my iPad the app on my old iPod doesn't have the right version you need to have version 2.10 my old iPod only has 2.3 with no updates available.Here is the link audible support sent when I had questions it explains how to use clips

I emailed them and they said it wasn't on the Android app yet which is what I use. So, I'll have to wait a bit longer.

I mostly use app on IPad, but I did buy a cheap phone so I could use the app when gardening. I love the app, never a problem, but my cheap phone also has a cheap battery!
Hey, It's like audible stole my upcoming app's feature :)Anyway, my app is designed to take a clip when you tap on screen and when you tap again, it stores that clip.. so it's not one time 30 second clip
The app will be live on store in two weeks. As book listeners, do you think this feature would be helpful to you ?

@MissSusie I've been loving Audible Clips. Pretty much all I've used them for so far is to tweet interesting lines. The link to your clip posted on Twitter worked for me btw. You (or anyone else) doing anything besides tweeting with them?
@Barkan Good idea to save the clips on SoundCloud. I like the idea of listening back to audiobook quotes from various books at once rather than needing to open or download a book first.

I honestly used to like the "Bookmark" option better than the "Audio Clip" deal... It was easier for me to keep notes

Thanks to Clips, you can now share meaningful audio passages with the people in your life. Just look for the "+Clip" icon in the latest version of the Audible app for iOS and Windows devices.
