BEWARE - BBC.COM website serious problems

For those of you outside the UK - Beware

I've been reading that the company that supplies the bbc.com site advertising has been hacked. This has resulted in spurious adverts being posted there. If you click the adverts they download ransomware that can encrypt your pc. So, be warned.

This does not affect the bbc.co.uk site as we do not get the adverts as we pay Auntie through the licence.

Thats correct. Any company that uses that advertising company, basically.
