Tee hee hee!

Poor G.G. but at least you're on the mend.

Having seen so many horrid things on the news lately, I'm even more glad than ever that this thread is here.

Let's keep the love flowing, people.

Hugs and heartfelt condolences to all of those suffering in Orlando.

I had this happen after a few weeks of all being hunky dory and it kept happening. It usually needed 2 reboots to sort it out. Then it stopped happening so it's a mystery.

Much better thanks. If only the stiches would fall. I'd stop playing with the string. :p

As for the saying, well...you proved to us that in fact, it might and it could. Careful doing those housework duties. I need to show this to my hubby so he'll understand if I don't do it anymore...or not. ;)

Sam (Rescue Dog Mom, Writer, Hugger) (sammydogs) | 973 comments G.G. - I hereby declare all women should print and put aside my post for future need. Though I am still able to type, work on my book, and read, I will not be able to vacuum, do laundry, wash dishes or pots and pans, or take out the trash for the rest of the week. : P

Just a few words about your stitches... OUCH!!! : (
Also, I had teeth removed and was sewn with dissolving thread. It didn't dissolve and the dentist had to remove it.

Thanks for taking my Mondays. ; D

Try breaking some ribs. Plays hell with the housework schedule.

Hurts though...

G.G. (ggatcheson) | 2491 comments Jane wrote: "Try breaking some ribs. Plays hell with the housework schedule..."

Last fall I found a way for the hubby to do all the cleaning in the house, even clean up the kitty litter box. (And he's still doing that one!) However, I don't suggest you try that. It comes with a hard price to pay. Really not worth it. Do the housework. Just be careful doing it. :P

Sue (Dog Mom) wrote: "It didn't dissolve and the dentist had to remove it...."

ahaha nice way for the dentist to see you again. :P
I really thought it should be gone by now, so yeah, maybe I'll have to have them removed.

Sam (Rescue Dog Mom, Writer, Hugger) (sammydogs) | 973 comments Jane - OUCH, OUCH, OUCH!!! So sorry. Hope you fully healed.

G.G. - Yup, I had to pay him for that.

T.L. Clark (tlcauthor) | 727 comments Thanks Emily; I was using Twitter ads and Facebook. They were good last time, just not this. But I'm over it. Just keeping the thread going as I discovered we all need hugs from time to time. :)

Ahmed; (((HUGS)))

Hmmm...I think we need to sell many more books so we can hire a maid. This housework malarkey is clearly hazardous to health ;)

I may not be on here much the next week or so, but please carry on supporting each other even if I am absent.

And please be careful! We don't want any more injuries.

So to keep you going...

G.G. (ggatcheson) | 2491 comments Sue, is it in the lower back? I mean lower than your shoulders? (do not use it if you'd need to use it above the shoulders). If so you could try IcyHot smart relief device. It's stimulate small electroshocks that really help with the pain. I used one last year after I hurt my back and it was the only thing that helped with the pain. It's sold in pharmacies but here what it looks like.

And forgot to say it is relatively cheap: around 30$

I'm so pleased it's spilling into other threads. What started off as my moment of self doubt and a wallow in self pity has grown into a free love program. :)

Sue (Dog Mum), I specifically requested carefulness!
Now, have a ((hug)) and get betterer soon xx

Long live the hugs!!

message 235: by Matt (new)

Matt Parker | 38 comments I haven't been in to see you huggers for a while. I can see from past posts that there's been a bit of pain and suffering going on. Back-dated hugs for everyone.

I've been suffering from my own dental pain for the past few weeks (Some teeth removed in preparation for crowns, nasty infection, swollen gums, ect ect) Stopped me doing housework, and could not even think about writing for a few days until the antibiotics kicked in. It was lucky my wife was off work for those days, to save me from having to wrangle the kids. They are pretty self-sufficient these days, but if left to their own devices they'd spend their time watching TV and eating rubbish.

Still, on the mend. Off the antibiotics now, so I can enjoy a beer in the sun.
Good timing.
Rain tomorrow.

Hugs to all.

Sam (Rescue Dog Mom, Writer, Hugger) (sammydogs) | 973 comments But, Moooommmm... er... I mean T.L, - All I did was get out of bed Ok, I confess, I did take out the trash, make the bed, laundry, and tended to several dogs. Trying to take it easy today. Emphasis on trying. Just doing one load of laundry and working on my book and tending to several dogs.

Matt - OUCH! So sorry for your dental pain. Be sure to drink some water along with that beer if you're going to drink it in the sun.

HUGS All Around.

Matt Parker | 38 comments Sue (Dog Mom) wrote: " Be sure to drink some water along with that beer if you're going to drink it in the sun."

Well it was only the one beer, and as it turned out it was after the kids had gone to bed when there was precious little sunshine left.
The good news is that it's not raining over here yet, so I might even get the chance to have another beer in the sun this evening.
Once all my work is done, of course.

Sam (Rescue Dog Mom, Writer, Hugger) (sammydogs) | 973 comments LOL Matt! Hard works always deserves a reward. : )

Sam (Rescue Dog Mom, Writer, Hugger) (sammydogs) | 973 comments I just returned from a doctor appointment. May I have one please? Not to shove too much info at you, but he has a new sign in his waiting area It's a list that starts off with "I am happy, I am kind, I am good," on and on ending with "I am me." By the time I read the end of the list, I cried. I can't say those things. All i can say is I try. Just caught me off guard. Sorry.

I think it's great that you try! I can't say those things either to be very honest, but I'm trying to get to that place. We're all learning, right? HUG!
