Can I have a hug please?

Although, a little part of me likes it when it's freezing raining outside, and you're warm and cozy inside with your family:)

I have 2 feet of snow outside my door right now. You would LOVE it!

Nat, Sorry about your re-write issue. Can you write a short story or scribble down a few paragraphs on a new story idea? That might help you feel a sense of accomplishment. Hugs!!

Boy do I know what that's like. But then you'll find that as you start rewriting that ending, it gets exciting because your creative juices are taking you down a better path. You'll start smiling and feeling proud of yourself and say, "Thank-you, Nat." (at least that's how it goes for me:)

OK, take a break, take a walk, eat/drink something yummy.
Take some deep breaths. Meditate on it. Where do you want your story to go? Then go with it.
((big rewrite hugs))
I wrote 2707 words yesterday so totally chuffed with myself.
Done some yoga, had my brekkie and now procrastinating on social media.
Oops! Vampires don't write themselves. Really must get on with it.
I'll just drop off some (((HUGS))) here for others to collect as required.

Yesterday afternoon I took a tea break (was really tired).
Ended up staring at a Christmas film with a guardian angel in it. I was procrastinating tbh.
Then in the film there was a power cut. At the very same time my own laptop screen came on by itself (I was nowhere near it)!
Angel hugs received o:) I churned out another 1000 words after that.
Just thought I'd share the <(((angel hugs)))> with you all too xx

I love this story!
Good morning coffee hugs to all! <3

Dog hug. She's small so she hugs hands as long as you're petting her."
What a sweet face she has!

Give her a tummy tickle from me xx

TL, your message on your blog is so uplifting. You're right, sometimes we get so down in our own problems that we forget our blessings. I'm happy to be able to "tick" everything off of your list. The last one--joy--makes me smile even more because I have a beautiful, best friend to share joy with. And I am thankful for that everyday.
And whenever I start a conniption fit about having to go the grocery store, I firmly correct myself and think how those poor women and children in Africa, India, & Aleppo wished they could go and buy food to feed their families, and live in nice homes with a peaceful roof over their heads.
Thank-you for reminding us, TL. I hope your health is getting better:)
Lovely picture, Thomas!

That sounds sarcastic but it really isn't.
Just realised though that links to my blog.
It was supposed to link to my Tweet; it had Kermit furiously typing. Oops!
Kismet not Kermit? ;-)
Almost Friday hugs people xx

Big comfotry hugs xx

TL is right. This is not an uncommon problem with the medical industry. I live in a country (US) where if you don't have insurance or money to pay for treatment, they will literally let you die! And let's not mention Veterans' care, and premiums tripling... the bottom line? It's not people's health, but money!
**Hugs** to you.
**Hugs** to everyone for the weekend!

Groovy, Huge understanding hugs to you. I also live in the US and besides the high premiums, it's costing me a fortune to be tested so I can be diagnosed and treated. My co-pay to have an MRI is $1,000. They call that a co-pay? I call that a monthly mortgage payment on top of the $900 we pay monthly for the stinking coverage. Disgusting and sad.
((((( Happy & Health Weekend Hugs to Everyone!!!!! )))))

Thanks for that, Sam. I'm glad you have insurance. Hope you still have it when they rip ObamaCare up:(
Everybody--Hugs!

When my mom was getting treatment for her cancer it was terrible to see that they were charging $90,000 every 3 weeks for her immunotherapy injections. Highway robbery. Thank God my mom went with good Cobra insurance when she retired. (She retired and one month later found out she had cancer.

Armfuls of support and encouragement to you all at the start of this festive week.
xx

A manuscript that I thought was finished.
A timeline that I've only just realised doesn't work - in fact, it runs over Christmas (a fact that I'd overlooked until now), and the month-long leadup would have to occur in a week...
So, a massive rewrite, probably end up with an entirely different story, because it needs to be modified in so many places.
And definitely not a March release date... there go the big plans for 2017!!

And Bree. It happens to us all. You'll probably get a better book out of it in the end.
Dog sends licks and tail wags

Bree, I agree with Jane. I always find that if I have to do a total, massive rewrite, the story always comes out better. You're going to be so happy with the outcome. Hang in there. **Hugsss**

Man, I am sending hugs your way. I know that we always feel extra inspired to kick off the new year racing toward our goals. Your story will be a-m-a-z-i-n-g though when all is said and done, because you gave it the time and detail it deserved. Brew some strong coffee and good luck!

Thank you for the love, Groovy! I appreciate it and accept the virtual hugs. My mom actually passed away in late October and this is my first Christmas without her. But I am so grateful she is no longer suffering.
Much love to you all! Everyone here is awesome at encouragement <3

Alex, how horrible. I'm sorry to hear about our mental health care in this country. I know it's crap, but when I see someone directly affected by it, I'm totally gnashing at the teeth.
Hugs to you. I wish I could offer more.

That is so frustrating...I am sorry you are having to deal with rewriting when you were so close to being finished. Some of the best books I have read though included some major last minute changes that delayed the release. According to the authors, the results made their books even stronger in the end. Good luck! You can do this!

Currently it effing well hurts.

**Hugsss** and be careful!
**Hugsss** to you, Alex. I hope it's just pressure and will clear up.

I stay away from those sorts of things for that very reason. Shivers go down my spine if I even think about getting near them. The only thing worse in my mind is a chop saw. I nearly died when I was cutting a metal pipe. The blade bound up, but instead of stopping it tried to keep going and launched that pipe 15 feet in the air. Came to find out later someone had broken the saw's teeth doing something else and didn't bother to tell anyone, or put a sign on it "do not use", or replace the blade.
Ugh, now I'm anxious! XD

Thanks Nat! All the hugs seem to have worked, because I'm actually enthused to do some of the editing!!
Good luck with your stalled novel too! Sending ((HUGS)) to help with that!

It is really frustrating :-) but also I'm glad I noticed before it went out into the big bad world... would have been a whole lot worse then!! As it is, the edits seem to be cleaning up the MS as well, so it's all good :-) Thanks for the hugs!!

Those things frighten me. I make my boyfriend use it, because I have almost lost entire hands on them.
Gentle, healing hug to you.

Jane; ouchies! Feel a little queasy now. I refuse to use a mandolin. Hope your finger's intact.
Bree; poopey for the rewrite, but it'll all be worth it in the end. Calm. Breathe. Keep going xx
Dwayne; awesome horg! <3
Sorry I'm a bit absent again. Busy preparing for Christmasses (yes, I get 2) :)
Big holiday hugs to you all.
Eat, drink and make merry xx

Hugs for you all too
I have got a cute Bichon Havanais and he gives great hugs.
He is called Shimba.
I published my first novel in September. And quite a few people bought the book. Friends and family mostly. But ever since then there's been little to nothing. I'm contacting local bookstores but either not hearing back or getting a negative response. I've sent the book out to reviewers but none of them have posted anything yet. I'm also a college student making time a valuable and fleeting thing. Overall just feeling very discouraged and like the bookish world is working against self-published authors. I know in my brain that's not true, but it still feels like it!
Virtual hugs are much appreciated.

Can he come live with you. He's only 40kg and about 5ft and a bit tall when he stands on his back legs."
Yikes! We don't have room for a dog that big! He would sure give the Shih Tzu something to think about. He's quite territorial and would not be intimidated by the size of an intruder... at first... the other two would like a new playmate, though.
