The score I was thinking of that Williams was the session pianist was Studs Lonigan. An early Goldsmith score.
Just finished the score to Hide In Plain Sight by Leonard Rosenman. Now listening to the score to the movie version of 21 Jump Street by Mark Mothersbaugh.
I know all the words and can't help signing it any time I hear it. Even though I'm not from West Virginia the words very much match up to the rural community I grew up in and so I get all nostalgic
Been listening to a lot of trailer music lately. Helps me think and relax. Groups like Audiomachine, Two Steps From Hell, Epic Score, Immediate Music, Select Tracks, Fired Earth Music, and Gothic Storm.
Cor, Two Steps from Hell doesn't relax me. I find myself gritting my teeth, sticking my chin out and reaching for my short sword. Or putting on some antiperspirant.I'll definitely check out the others on your list. Thanks for the heads up.

QBVII as in Queen's Bench was a novel written by Leon Uris author of Exodus. It is a fictional version of the lawsuit against Uris that arose from Exodus. The novel was filmed and shown in the US on ABC and it was one of the first TV mini-series. Goldsmith wrote the score. Between QBVII and Masada, Goldsmith was the go to composer for Jewish themed mini-series.
As to costing you money again, I point every lover of quality film music to the newly recorded versions of scores from Tadlow (see James Fitzpatrick's recordings with Silva Screen as well), Tribute Film Classics (the people behind Tribute also were behind the score recordings from Marco Polo/Naxos) , Intrada, and Varese Sarabande.
Prior to those companies, RCA released a series of LPs of newly recorded score suites featuring conductor Charles Gerhardt and the National Symphony Orchestra.
My neighbors having their roof re-shingled while I'm trying to sleep. Yep, I LOVE working nights...

I feel for you. There's a dog a block away that barks late into the night, and it sounds like a seal barking. It will not SHUP UP.
Been listening to LOTR and Doctor Who soundtracks lately.

Deep Rising complete score by Jerry Goldsmith. Prior to that was True Grit by Elmer Bernstein (The cd contains all of the permutations of the title song including two rejected songs/lyrics.One written by John Hartford who wrote many of Glen Campbell's hits back in those days.)
EMD artist recently released a cover of the Doctor Who theme song. You can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWZUX...It brings back memories of The Timelords' (aka KLF, furthermore known as the JAMs) "Doctorin' the Tardis" which was a mashup of the Doctor Who theme song and Gary Glitter's "Rock and Roll (Part 2)"

I like this soon too, but in my head I immediately think of Studio Ghibli's Whisper of the Heart where they do a version 'concrete roads' as well as playing the original :)
