Let's Get BEYOND THE CODE into Quill!!

I am definitely in to help her reaching Quill goal. Roughly 2 copies a day that is what she needs.
Kelsey, let us know what have you done so far to 'boost' your campaign ?
Real quick what I can suggest is:
You need a team of people who are passionate supporters who you can work with by email, one on one, to help them get you each about 2-3 pre-orders from their friend and family.
Start by building what's called a launch team.
Here how it goes: you email them each individually and thank them for offering to help with your project and say right now you're turning to your closest supporters to ask if they can reach out individually and get people they know to order the book.
The advantage of emailing individually is you can work individually with each person around their obstacles. sometimes group email tend to be ignored or have less impact.
Everyone is going to have different things they can offer you, so the one-on-one allows you to build a team doing the same thing but with each person on their own mission and working with you.
So with the core push from your loyalest hardest worker 97 is really attainable.
I will continue to work on this Kelsey.
Beyond the Code

As for things I've done so far. I have my 50 Point Raffle where at every 50 orders I raffle off a prize of a soft blanket with the cover art on it. I also had bookmarks made that I pass out to people.
That's about it.

Kelsey

Since Inkshares has added the Direct Messenger option on the website I took some time to message everyone of my followers who haven't bought Beyond the Code with a gentle reminder of the campaign time frame. It worked out very well and worked out to about 10 sales. So for anyone who's thinking about it it does work pretty good.
Unfortunately now things have slowed down in the last couple days and time is a ticking. Does anyone have any other ideas for drumming up sales to make that final push?

Facebook ads.. I spent $35 for a week of ads and I controlled what the ad read, what age group, and what locations were targeted. I've done this 4 times and yielded decent results- about 60% of my total sales have come from FB.
I also utilize Twitter- as you do as well.
I use LinkedIN too, but not many results from there.
My second strongest results came from emails from Inkshares.
I've ordered 5x7 postcards equipped with a QR Code linking to my page. I should have those in my hands tomorrow or Tuesday.
Best of luck to you!

Anywho i have been using social media to an extent with a facebook page and twitter but I haven't tried to Facebook adds yet and hearing about your success i am totally going to get into that. Thank you for the advise.

Beyond the Code is in the top three for the Breaking the Bechdel syndicate this month... more of our members need to go vote!

I really appreciate the Johnslist process and hope we can get this done for Kelsey.
Thanks everyone,
