Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments Several years ago I experimented with creating a blog. I was just curious about how one would go about doing it.

Below is a link to the blog I created.

I called it "The Ivory Tower", a place where I could get away from the rest of the world and think about life.

(As I think about it, the Internet is not a place to go in order to get away from the rest of the world!) lol

I had forgotten about this blog until recently, when I found the link in my files. So I thought I'd post the link here. Why should I let all that work go to waste? :)

At the blog, you have to click on various links to find the various parts of the blog. I get lost in there myself! lol

Here it is for what it's worth. (See the link above.)

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments While I'm at it, here's one of my first (and last) attempts at creating a web page: https://sites.google.com/site/seadanc...

I notice that things that worked before at that webpage don't work anymore. There have been too many changes since back then (around 2008).

Jim (jimmaclachlan) Good for you, Joy. I admit to rarely visiting blogs. I spend far too much time on the computer as it is.

I know what you mean, Jim. My blog was simply an attempt to learn what managing a webpage was all about. I now see that this type of blog program forces the amateur into a certain format. There must be hundreds of different formats for blogs and lots of other websites which support them.

Here's another version of my blogspot.com experiment:

Here's another blog I tried out:

And another:

I had almost forgotten they were there! LOL
Gee, I was a busy-bee! :)
