OK... after online searches I found a way to deal with the link--it's called "mouse over" and can be the bane of a blind person's existence on many web pages. But I did get it to work and, after lots of figuring out, now know how to download. Still don't like it because it adds several steps before you can download a book. What used to take me three key strokes now requires six plus scrolling to new sections to find what is needed for each next step--lots lots less convenient. And, so far, it only worked for me in Grid View. The progress indicator only works if you listen on a device or using the cloud, not if you download to your computer first. Maybe I'm a dinosaur, but I hate headphones and am in a position to listen using my computer--battery life is no concern--using speakers. Sigh, we dinosaurs have it tough! Like all other changes, I'll get used to it even though it's tons clunkier for me to use. I still would rather have the Downloads Options available right there under the book info rather than have it hidden.
A positive new feature: once you've opened the feature that gives more info about the book, if the book is from a series, it now also lists other books in the series that are in your Library... convenient feature.
@Jeanie, thanks for confirming that the page is a bit of a problem for blind people. I wish more web designers would remind themselves that not just sighted people browse the web. And that's especially true for shops that offer audiobooks.A lot of times, these "pretty" things often add more hurdles for those who can't see them.

The bells and whistles and pretty pictures may be nice for some, but they create a barrier for others. Web designers do know they are supposed to use universal design and make all sites accessible... some pay more attention to this than others.
Is our Audible rep reading this thread? If so, perhaps he/she can give you the email address to give feedback on this new beta library. In the meantime and between time, my wishlist is still non-functional. I have heard nothing from customer service updating me on their progress in spite of their claim that they would. I understand from comments in this group that Audible is revamping the wishlist (and library). I'm not sure why they couldn't just say so as the reason why they aren't addressing my issue.
Grumpus, did you ever get your wishlist back? You were even having problems logging into the site.

So sorry for your ongoing Wish List problems. Did you say you can't add anything to it? Have you tried any experiments such as adding WL items to the Cart and then returning them? What happens then?
Regardless, Audible should be responsive to individual needs... after all, Audibles membership is nothing more than individuals all in one place. How they treat the one is how they treat the many... Ask not for whom the bell tolls--or for whom Audible functions!
It sounds like most of us are going to be quoting from the Young Frankenstein movie: "Put. It. Back!!!"

LOL! Definitely true for the Download button. Many of the other features are improvements, I have to admit, but I haven't checked out the Search feature yet. ;)
Hi Janice, we are sorry to hear that you have not been provided with an update on your situation! If your issue was escalated to our Technical Specialist team, we should be able to check for an update on your ticket. Please feel free to send an email to social-support@audible.com and we would be happy to see if we have any available updates for you.Jeanie, we are sorry if you have had a negative experience with our new version of the library. We are passing this feedback along to our team on your behalf.

Maybe in the future when Audible makes significant procedural changes to a page, there could be a link that gives step-by-step instructions and explanations of the new features. It really would have helped to know what to expect rather than have to search the web and use trial and error to figure it out for myself. I can tell you, I felt more than a little panic to go to my trusty old Library and find no Download button and no indication of how to access my beloved books!
Audible.com wrote: "Hi Janice, we are sorry to hear that you have not been provided with an update on your situation! I have sent numerous emails asking for updates. I will email again.
I can't open my wish list on my lap top. I can see it on my Kindle but it's very hard to scroll through the list. I just opened an Audible subscription but now I can't open my list! I wish I could see my list.
Penelope wrote: "I can't open my wish list on my lap top. I can see it on my Kindle but it's very hard to scroll through the list. I just opened an Audible subscription but now I can't open my list! I wish I could ..."They are apparently mucking about with the format of the wish list. A couple of days ago mine changed - no hover capability now, and no ability to see series identification. Can't tell what is whispersync'd anymore. I hate it, but am hoping they aren't done futzing around with it. This is on my laptop; I don't have a mobile device.
BEFORE one could put those titles you liked best at the top of the list. Now this is no longer possible. BEFORE, I did this by putting those titles I wanted at the top, into my basket. Then I removed them from the basket back to the wishlist. Before when I did this they were placed at the top; now they go back to the position they originally had. BAD news.
I see no improvement in the changes made.
I guess I should be thankful my wishlist has not disappeared.
I don't see why it has to be different from the format of the Library. I hope they're not about to change that! Just like a lot of their screens, it takes up more space and has bigger pictures, not an improvement.
ANOTHER error has occurred in Audible after recent changes . Check out your book ratings in you Audible library
My rating at GR and at Audible are the same, so I could go back and double check when I on a casual glance thought they were peculiar. My ratings at Audible were changed; they had been given higher ratings. Annoyed, I changed them back. I should go and check again to see how they are now.

I had a look, my ratings haven't changed.
I found another mistake. I do not know if I missed correcting it before or if it has changed itself again. The problem seems to occur when the performance rating is higher than the story or overall rating. My overall rating is always the same as the story rating. It seems that the system makes the overall rating the same as the highest of the other two ratings, even if that is not how you want it to be. Why are we given the possibility of rating overall, performance and story separately , if we cannot choose the value for each? The change occurs not when you are looking.
The change in rating seems to be haphazard. Not all books ratings are changed.
I did find another error today on one book. For The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, I gave overalland story three stars. Only the performance did I give five. When I looked today the overall was set at 5. Now I have changed it back again. There is the possibility that I didn't see it needed correcting the last time I looked. I absolutely never gave the overall five stars!
I remember having to correct Ulysses. There I gave the performance 5 stars and the story and overall 1. The overall had been changed to 5. I had to change it back to 1. Today the overall is still 1.
I have not gone back and checked all of my books. I have too many.
I do NOT like what is going on!
Excuse me for discussing this perhaps in the wrong thread.
Chrissie wrote: "I found another mistake. I do not know if I missed correcting it before or if it has changed itself again. I'm discovering that the new format on the Home page and other pages gives me the same problem I found trying to buy during the latest two BOGO sales... many links simply don't show up or are not active for me to click on. And I HATE the Home Page format since it hides half the information and getting to it is a matter of luck rather than intent. I've been trying for days to see the list of the most popular books ever on Audible, but clicking on what I think is the right link sends me elsewhere... every - single - time!
Jeanie, a couple of years ago I know it was not possible to change ratings. I know this b/c once I made a mistake and had to contact them to correct it, but that was ages ago. I am not sure when the change occurred that we can alter our ratings. I don't know b/c I always rate immediately after reading the book and make no changes.
I just did a test on changing the number of stars for a review. I went into My Library and rated a book I read recently, with no verbal review involved, just stars. The first thing I rated was Performance, and I gave it 5 stars. As soon as I did that, the Overall rating became 5 stars too, without my ever touching it. Then I rated the story as 4 stars, and the other two categories stayed the same. Now it appears that I can change all the star ratings for all the categories and only the one I change is affected. So I guess they've finally made it possible to change ratings, but it's sure a little weird that rating one will make another match!
I have found that rereading a book makes them ask to rate again. So I've always assumed I could easily change my ratings. There has been a bug about 2 months ago that didn't show my last ratings (done via the app) on the site, although when clicking on the book it said what my rating was... but this has just gone away and everything seems alright.
my wish list is gone too. Like you say, maybe good for me but bad for audible, since I used to park a lot there and then buy on sale. I liked the old format so much better too where you could see the price. I don't like the photo oriented layout.
I can access my wish list on my Kindle, so I am using that to remove each book and then put it on an Amazon wishlist designated for audio books that is easily accessed and browsable. Slow going, but at least I can still have my wish list!
I'm now on CS chat re the wish list and it is the only bad experience I've ever had with audible CS. This whole thing is very strange.
Just wanted to share the good news that my wish list is back! But this experience has taught me not to keep just one wish list, but to create a back up too just in case. I use the Amazon wish list feature to create a designated audio book wish list and I will be adding any new wish list books to that list too.
Penelope wrote: "Just wanted to share the good news that my wish list is back! But this experience has taught me not to keep just one wish list, but to create a back up too just in case. Jeanie - thanks to you and everyone here for the comfort and support. It's good to have a place to come with my Audible audio book concerns. I get easily flustered when things don't work as they did, lol.
So glad to hear that your wishlist came back!! And yes, it's a good reminder to back up whatever you don't want to lose. I back up each and every ebook and audiobook - I've had publishers disappear overnight. While Audible has always given me access to audiobooks I bought that they've taken away for sale (for whatever reason), there is no guarantee in the future that this will happen. So, I just make sure I have a backup.

But here are some screenshots of the new library. (during the taking of the screenshots I played around a bit with the sorting)

A few things I already noticed, the "Progress" counter is wrong for me, I have marked more books as finished, than it claims.
I like the list look, personally. Most information at a glance, and most handy, the amount of time left in a book.
The "Quick look" thing is going to take some getting used to. Clicking on the title once will open the quick look, and clicking on the title again opens the shop page of the book in question.
Another downside is the fact that it'll take an extra click before you can start downloading a book. At least if the "Download options" link appears for you. For me it does, but apparently there are people who don't have that link.
