DISCUSSION QUESTIONS FOR PART 1:
1. How did you feel when Tegan and Elizabeth reunited? What did you think of the changes in Tegan?
2. Were you surprised by how Tegan learned witchcraft? What did you think of her method of finding teachers?
3. How did you feel about Tegan's retreat in Wales?
4. How would you feel if you were Elizabeth, and Tegan had been taken by Gideon?
5. What did you think of the concept of Time Steppers? Do you think a Time Stepper will help Elizabeth?

1. I was excited that Elizabeth and Tegan were reuniting but wondering how Tegan would react. I wasn't surprised in the changes in Tegan but wanted to know how they came about.

2. I wasn't really surprised by how she learned - I think that she was on a journey that she really had no control over, that there was something driving her to find teachers to replace Elizabeth.

3. I think that her retreat in Wales, as well as the rest of her travels, was pre-ordained and it was a journey she had to take.

4. I would have been very angry and a bit frightened until I learned his reason for taking her.

5. I LOVE the idea of Time Steppers - to learn that this was in the plot made me quite happy. I think a Time Stepper will help Elizabeth but I hope that they will be someone skilled at their craft.
