"Jake! He's worried sick! Running in circles, driving himself mad. He's hating himself that he let them take you." Ruby said, remembering Jake's frantic angry state.

"Well they did. And they.... Did things." She whispered, balling her hands into fists.
Ruby's mouth dropped. "He's gonna kill them." she muttered.
"I'm going to kill them. As soon as they open the door I'm sending a spike threw their hearts." She malevolently staring daggers at the door.
"Eira, don't do it. It'll end badly. Jake's coming. What if you kill him instead?" Ruby asked, concerned.
"I'll check before they become a shishcabob." Eira said crossin her arms.
Ruby sighed. "Okay..." She wasn't too fond of killing.
"When is he gonna be here?" She asked. Wits had been through a lot these last three days. Kidnapped, abused, and hit. Mainly hit.

"Thank God." She said sighing. "Wait- who's comming?" She said suddenly sitting up and gazing t the door.

Ruby backed away from the door. James was heard outside. "But Boss, you said next week!" "I know what I said!" Markus barked. "But we need the money."
Eira frowned and raised her hands to the door.
"Eira..." Ruby pleaded. The door swung open.
Rita paused and waited to see who it was.
There was no one at the door. Instead, a bottle came flying in, shattering as it hit the floor. Markus had thrown it in his rage.
Eira froze it anyway. Leaving it in the air, with a long thin pillar of ice holding it up from the ground.
Ruby squeaked and covered her head. Markus and James were still fighting. "I said get her!" Markus shouted. "But she isnt ready to be sold!" James barked back.
Oh no.... no no nononononononono "They are coming for me Ruby." she said wide eyed. SHe was scared beyond belief.
Ruby looked up. "But they cant! Jakes coming!" She thought for a moment, then took her bracelet off and handed it to Eira.
Eira took it. "What do i do with it?" she asked, voice quivering.
"Just put it on!" Ruby answered. "Its Jake's tracker." James footsteps could be heard coming back to the door.
Eira put it around her ankle and clipped it. SHe tucked her leggs underneath her and put her head down.
James came in and Ruby backed off. He grabbed Eira roughly. "Come easy or get knocked out. Your choice." He growled, in a bad mood. "Lets go!" Markus barked outside
"I think I would rather be knocked out than have to stare at your ugly face." She mummbled, indecipherable.

"Times up." James elbowed her in the neck. When she slumped forward, He tied her wrists and ankles. "Sick and tired of this." He grumbled. He picked her up over his shoulder and walked out, leaving Ruby by herself in the dark. He threw Eira in the trunk again and got in the SUV, where Markus was waiting. "Move!" Markus barked. James slammed the gas and sped out towards the dealers center. Ruby sighed. "This better work."

Jake threw open the cellar door. Ruby jumped up. "Where's Eira?" He barked. "They took her! I gave her the tracker..." Jake grabbed Ruby's hand and almost dragged her into a car that he had borrowed from Alex's friend. He reprogrammed his tracker and they sped off, following Eira. Jake was so mad he had no idea how fast he was going. Ruby clutched the seat, terrified.

James pulled to a stop outside a run-down arena of sorts. Jake pulled in out of sight. When James and Markus got out and headed for Eira, Jake jumped out and ran behind them. He kicked James in the back and he fell to the ground. "You?!" Markus barked. Jake held his stance. "Yeah me now give her BACK!" He shouted, throwing punches.

Eira heard Jakes voice and her heart nearly best out if her chest. She tried to kick open the trunk, but of course that didn't work.
Jake heard the trunk make a noise and turned his head. Markus threw a punch and managed to catch Jake off guard, knocking him in the jaw. It busted his lip, and a thin trail of blood trickled down his face. Jake turned, even angrier. He kicked Markus in the gut, and when he stumbled, Jake used his illusions to make the trunk seem unlocked. He opened it enough for Eira to get out before turning and fighting with Markus again. "Eira, get to my car with Ruby, go!" He shouted. James had gotten back up and was now headed for Jake, who had Markus pinned to the ground.
Eira cried and liked the trunk open more. She flipped herself out and ran wih Ruby. She didn't care she looked like a Chilean wih her hands behind her back flailing uselessly, she was free at last.
When Ruby and Eira were safe, Ruby cut Eira's bonds with Jakes pocket knife. "I told you he'd come." She said quietly. Jake had knocked Markus out and was now beating down mercilessly on James. Markus looked almost dead, his face was half covered in blood. Jake didnt even notice he was growing tired, his anger carried him forward. Ruby winced as Jake took a blow to his side.
Eira rolled down the window and waited for Jake to show an open spot on James. When James pushed Jake off of him and got ready to pounce on him again. Eira sent an ice spike through jamess side.
James groaned and clutched his side, his shirt quickly turning red. Jake swiped James's legs out from under him, knocking him to the ground. Jake jumped up and stood over him with an evil grimace. "Lights out." He growled and kicked him in the face. Both men bloody and unconcious, Jake turned and walked back to the car, but not untouched. His face had blood on it and his side hurt like heck, probably a broken rib or two. He leaned on the car, breathing hard. "You okay?" He asked the girls.
"No." Eira said sadly tucking herself in a ball on the cars seat.
"Eira..." Jake said softly, crouching down beside her. "Im sorry. Im so sorry I couldnt protect you before..." He hung his head, hating himself. Ruby had told him everything on the way here.
Eir frowned and crouched away from him. "Do you know what they did? What was happening to me?" She asked, voice trembling.
Jake put his hands over his face. "Yes! Yes, Im sorry! and I couldnt do a d*mn thing about it!" He stood up, turned around, and threw a rock to ease his frustration, not that it helped. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I'm sorry." He mumbled again then sighed again. "Lets just get you home." He said, closing the car door and getting in his own seat. He felt terrible. If only he was faster... Trained more... this never would of happened to her. He pounded the steering wheel with his fist and cursed himself. Ruby sighed. "Jake..." She began, but didnt know how to finish.
