OMG first of all so many things I was not expecting and loved a lot. So like when Cristina Rosales was spying on Mark Blackthorn making out with Kieran. It was so freaking hot I was like turned on from the love making between those two. I believe in my heart that Mark will get back with Kieran. I mean come on we all make mistakes like when Alec Lightwood tried to make Magnus Bane mortal and now they have a baby. So I am still shipping Mark x Kieran I love gay relationships more than straight ones. Speaking of gay relationships did anyone else feel like Kit Rook had a thing for Tiberius Blackthorn? I am so hoping for more gay romances. Also shocker that Kit is actually Christopher Herondale the lost Herondale looks like Jace has more family members now thanks to detective Tessa Gray. Perfect Diego is so obviously meant for Cristina not Mark. Good thing Mark saw them making out to destroy that silly notion of feelings he might have for her. OMG Emma trying to hook up with Mark? Well fake it for Julian Blackthorn sake. Poor Julian they need to figure out how to severe that parabatai bond before it is too late. Freaking out Annabel Blackthorn lives, hoping this isn't another disaster like Malcolm Fade... >.<"

Yes thank you I'm so glad somebody ships Mark and Kieran I mean to me it was kind of like the Malec thing, but theres also the part where he says let Emma get whipped as long as Mark doesn't which just shows he doesn't understand the ways of humans and Mark's love for his family.On the other hand, Mark did love Kieran, and that was for a reason. Maybe he'll see that again, if he ever calls for help (The elf bolt necklace gave me hope for them), but maybe it means Mark still cares about him, but he doesn't forgive him.

How can you doubt Perfect Diego? He even has Perfect in his name, laughing so hard. I doubt he has done anything bad to gain your mistrust. If Diego really wanted to he could have told the Clave about everything they been doing behind their backs which he hasn't. I guess will just have to wait and see who betrays who in the next book can't wait... x]

I am in total agreement with you right now. For reals on everything especially Emma who should have told Julian about everything instead of lying and keeping things from him, but what do you expect? This is forbidden love similar to Jace and Clary. The author wants to kill us with suspense until they finally get together. She is very good at suspense it took how many books before Jace and Clary got together because I lost count... >.<"
I KNOW! It just kills me because Jules deserves the best and he will hurt more by seeing Mark with Emma. It just wasn't fair, like she could've just told him and they could've figured something out together But no, now she needs to go behind his back and it's not like he's going to love her less?
Did you also see the similarities between Clary and Julian, and Emma and Jace?

They keep saying Emma is going to be the next Jace and that Julian is an artist like Clary. I didn't think about it too much until now that you mentioned it. Mark is obviously the next Alec or maybe Magnus since he is bi. No wait a minute! Mark is the next Magnus and Kieran is so Alec.

Exactly what I was thinking I feel like no one could be Izzy though at the moment. None of the characters reminds me of Izzy especially not Cristina. Also I am sure Mark will end up with Kieran in the end. I fear for Emma safety though if Kieran thinks the two of them are together things will get messy for sure.

Cristina is her own character. Kieran will be soo upset, I feel like things could end up bad but Mark could also explain everything to him. But I have a feeling Mark will fall for Emma, and then complicate things even further and poor Julian. I'm seriously so upset about it, because Julian will hurt and it's so not fair to him.
I really like Kieran for some weird reason, he feels right for Mark.
And Kit and Ty are going to be so cute together, and Ty will probably try to understand why he likes Kit and it's going to be adorable :)

When I first saw this movie trailer I thought it was Lady Midnight the movie for a second. For reals I can see her as Emma drowning in the ocean and Julian trying to rescue her. It would be fun if they made a movie out of Lady Midnight, that does not look like the show that is currently running...

I fear if I read the book I will hate that movie and want to spit on it. The movies are never better than the book, but I wish they did a movie on Lady Midnight, and follow the book word by word... :3
I thought it was scary, I mean the title and cover is a bit scary :P But if it is like this movie, then it looked interesting...Totally agree, books are always better than the movies - maybe in some cases the movie can be better but mostly not

Rarely are the movies better than the books rarely. I can only think of one movie which is "Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion" only because the movie had a happier ending than the book which is what I loved most about it. Also I agree Emma needs to confess to Julian. We shall surely suffer waiting for the next book... >.<"

I've seen the movie but haven't read the book :P There is one movie that I liked better than the book but can't remember which one it was

Yeah, we all make mistakes, and Kieran is even more prone to make those mistakes given his seriously messed up family background. He hasn't really had any good role models to learn from. So you could say Kieran came from a disadvantaged background, in a way, compared to the rest of the main teenagers. (He comes from the deadly Unseelie court too, and was royalty there!! That must have been very bad influence.)And haha I admit I love gay relationships more than straight ones too, lol. Alec and Magnus were also my favorite couple in TMI.

I hate that both are hurting too, but I think Emma's decision is not lacking sense. Not telling Julian has a purpose. According to the parabatai curse, that they get apart doesn't make up for everything that has happened. Emma is trying to change (though we all know that is not going to work) Julian's feelings because it's the only way to keep him safe.Concerning Kieran&Mark issue, I love Kieran too and it has been a difficult decision for me but it seems that I disagree with the majority. I would really like to see what happens with Cristina and Mark. I think there is chemistry there.
The final sentence that Mark says to Emma proposing that they not only pretend to have something going on but to actually have it, left me wide-eyed. Best/worst cliffhanger.
I just felt like she could tell him, because his feeling won't go away regardless of if she's with Mark or not. He'll hurt, but that's all.I think Mark is open to everyone or so it seems haha :P but as the fae say you can only give your heart to one person. I wonder if he'll give it to someone else than Kieran...

Hahahaha it's true, Mark is quite open but I don't think Emma sees it the same way (or I hope so) xD
And I agree with you that Julian's feelings won't go away either way but it's Emma's only option and she has to try. Both choices, to say it or not to Julian, are going to hurt him but only one is going to save him, actually both of them, for going crazy. Telling Julian about the curse and about her noble motives for staying apart are not going to make him stop loving her. But, I guess, Emma thinks that making him hate her could help. And, well, she is a heroine, she can't help herself :)

Telling him the truth does nothing because it will only make Julian fight for them, and in the end he will fall harder. I mean Julian basically did the same thing after the beach incident. He told her he didn't love her in that way. He was protecting her from the law, and we all know we hated it when it happened. Although it kills me Emma wasn't idiotic with that decision. She knew telling him the truth would make things worse.
Hmm but I'm not sure Emma or Julian fully realize that it was precisely because they were romantically in love with each other that they are both still alive! Without that romantic love, Julian would have died from the poisoned arrow, and Emma would not have survived Malcolm's attack. So...I think this is giving some hints that romantic love even in the context of a parabatai relationship... may not be bad or all bad. What do y'all think?

They will continue to become stronger to heal one another yes, but in the end it can still turn them into monsters.
Haha yeah in a practical sense, it will become dangerous and fatal. Yet, looking at it as a reader perusing a literary work, that Julian and Emma's romantic love saved their lives, may suggest some kind of symbolic meaning, even a kind of foreshadowing that the Parabatai curse might be lifted somehow. lol. Anyway that is my interpretation.

I know!!! Unfortunately I read Lady midnight last summer, so I don't remember everything. So I consider to read it again, to remember the important stuff!
Anyone think Julian has like a dark side? How he made up all those lies was so good but like woah at the same time.So much love for him!
Also i didn't see ty and kits connection in that way but i re read it and i totally see it now! So cute
& and i really did not like keiren at the start but he grew on me. I think him and marks personalites balance eachother out that make out sesh was totes hot!

I angree with what you think about Keiren. But I don't think Julian has a dark side (well I don't want to think so). I just he is really sweet and I sort of feel sorry for him... because there is way to much responsible a teenager can't handle.

You are right that it did save both of their lives so it can't be all bad. The entire law seems so secretive and hush-hush. It almost seems like no one actually knows what will happen because it just doesn't happen and if it does, it is kept a secret. My feeling is maybe the love between parabatai's isn't bad at all and maybe makes the Shadowhunters super powerful and magical like a warlock which the Clave doesn't want because they abhor anything different or too powerful (for example Ty is different and they would treat him poorly because of it). The Clave would never accept Shadowhunters that could wield magic.
