Friday/weekend roll call!

Jake & I just got back from a very quick trip to SF actually. He was busy with work the whole time, but that left me free to reconnect with the city-- I hadn't been back since we moved! Anyway, what that translates to is that I hit up Green Apple & Isotope. I'm bummed I didn't get to the new Sunset location of Green Apple; maybe next time. I also didn't get to City Lights (again, next time!).
Here's my list after my shopping spree-
- Still working on People in the Trees. Great writing and enjoyable to read despite the protagonist being (intentionally) extremely unlikeable.
- Promethea Book 1, an Alan Moore graphic novel
- Plan to start M train after hopefully finishing both of those first two this weekend
Enjoy the rain!
What are your reading plans for the weekend?
Me- It's supposed to be bleak and stormy all weekend, so I can't wait because that means guilt-free reading time. Here is what I will be attempting to read-
-Your Heart is a Muscle the Size of a Fist by Sunil Yapa
-Under the Udala Trees by Chinelo Okparanta
- In the Country by Mia Alvar
- more on the audiobook: The Dispossessed by Ursula K. LeGuin
- The Big Short by Michael Lewis
