Pharenheit Ace | 3 comments I read a book in 1978/79 about the world where the population of the world was basically one mixed race except for a small group of white people fighting to keep their race pure. It would have been by a Si Fi author like Ben Bova as I also remember enjoying Star Watchman and tended to read books by the same authors in groups.

An Ideas anyone?

Peter Meilinger | 469 comments The mixed race future was a plot point in The Forever War, but it wasn't focused on as anything other than yet another way the 20th century protagonist felt out of place on an Earth that was no longer familiar to him. And I don't remember anything about a group trying to preserve whiteness.
