I have the same role. Always open to new ideas / ways of thinking as I am relatively new to the role in a team of 'traditionalists'.

I recommend The Phoenix Project: A Novel About IT, DevOps, and Helping Your Business Win by Gene Kim. The fun part is that it's a novel, yet it's instructional because it covers the principles behind Dev Ops. This is a great read if you are involved in IT projects.
