"Good." Jasper nodded. "Weren't you planning on looking through some of the books I brought anyway?" He asked.
"I thought so." He nodded. "When did you want to look at them?" Jasper asked her.
She shrugged and took another bite of her apple. "Whenever, except not during class, obviously."
"Alright. How about after classes and before dinner tonight?" Jasper suggested.
She thought for a moment, then nodded. "That works just fine."
"Okay. Where do you want me to come meet you?" Jasper asked. Most didn't know where the entrance to Slytherin was so he'd have to show her.
"How about at the bottom of the stairs?" Maja suggested.
Jasper thought for a moment. He nodded. "Yeah. That'll work."
He smiled faintly. "Okay." He nodded. Jasper looked around as more people started to enter the hall.
"I'll see you later." Maja said with a grin, getting up and heading to her table.
Jasper nodded. He finished off his apple and got up. He grabbed his book before retreating back to his room. (Skip..?)
((Sure.)After Jasper got out of his last class of the day, he headed to the bottom of the staircase to wait for Maja. He sighed quietly.
Maja took a little longer — her last class was very far up in the castle, and it took her a while to get down all those stairs — but she finally arrived, breathless, at the bottom of the stairs. "Hey!" She said happily.
"Hey." Jasper replied, seeing her and walking over. "Ready?" He asked.
She nodded. "Yep!" She took another deep breath. "Why does this school have to be so big?"
"Good question. I don't know." Jasper answered with a shrug. He started walking toward Slytherin.
Jasper led her down another flight of stairs and down a long corridor.
Maja looked around curiously. "Oven ever really been down here much," she said.
"Yeah. Slytherins like to be hidden.." Jasper mumbled with a shrug. They came up to a simple door. He put his hand on the door and whispered the password.
Maja shrugged. "Nothing wrong with that." She watched with interest as he opened the door.
Jasper shoved the door open once it unlocked. He held it for Maja. He looked around the dim Slytherin common room, grateful that no one was there.
Maja slipped in. "It's different in here..." She said, "From my common room, I mean."
"Yeah." Jasper shrugged. The common rooms had similar set ups, but Slytherins was organized differently and just didn't seem like a bright place. He walked toward his room.
Jasper sighed softly. He pushed open the door to his room and walked in. He was the only one in this room. Everything was extremely neat and clean.
"You have a room to yourself?" Maja asked.
"Yeah. There's 9 sixth years, I think. And it's four a room so I got this one to myself." Jasper said with a shrug. He walked over to his two shelves full of books.
"Lucky." Maja said, looking around. "If love a room to myself."
Jasper shrugged. "Yeah. It's kinda nice." He replied quietly. ((Your turn on the other one))
"They're all right here." Jasper answered, nodding to the shelf. ((It's fine. I just figured I'd remind you..))
Maja was over at the shelf in a flash. She squinted at the titles, finding that she'd never heard of most of them.
Jasper sat down on his bed, looking over at her as she looked at all the books. He hadn't read all of them yet so he didn't know if they were any good
Maja pulled one off the shelf and flipped it over to read the back.
Jasper grabbed the book he was currently reading and opened it up.
"This one looks good," she held up the one in her hand.
"Alright." Jasper nodded. He looked at the book. "I haven't read it so you'll have to tell me if its good." He told her with a light smile.
"I'll do that." Maja smiled, adding the book to her bag.
"Okay." Jasper smiled lightly. He ran a hand through his hair, glancing at the time.
Maja noticed, and she looked up too. "Time for dinner, huh?"
"Yeah." Jasper said sighing. He got up off his bed. He was planning on at least walking her back to one of the main corridors but he wasn't going to go to the Great hall, he wasn't hungry.
"Probably a good idea." Jasper said, standing up. He led her out of his room.
Maja walked alongside him. "Thanks for letting me borrow this."
"Yeah. Oh course." Jasper nodded. The common room was still empty as they walked through.
