"Stupid parents saying that it was unacceptable." He answered. "In case you havent figured it out yet, they are very controlling."

"They wouldn't let you play Quidditch?" Maja asked, surprised. "No kidding..."
"They call it a pointless sport." Jasper sighed. "You starting to get why I can't wait to get out of here and out of their house?"
"Hey, I have an idea!" Maja said suddenly, "Would you want to spend Christmas at my house? My parents would probably be all right with it."
Jasper looked over at her when she said she had an idea. He was unsure how to reply. He was just planning on staying at school like he'd done in years past. "You should make sure they're okay with it first.. But if you'd want me to, I'd come.." He said quietly.
"Great! I'll ask next time I write home." Maja said, beaming.
Jasper smiled lightly at her. He wouldn't tell his parents that he'd go spend Christmas with her or anything. Not wanting more drama.
Maja leaned against him. She would love it if he could come visit.
Jasper ran a hand through his hair. "Am I a good pillow?" He asked her with a smile.
Maja laughed. "You're good for more than being a pillow, by the way."
"Yeah..." You would think that the cold air would keep Maja awake, but it did the opposite.
"You should go get some rest.." He said gently.
"I don't want to. I want to stay here." She sounded like a child, and she knew it, but she didn't exactly care.
"Okay." Jasper nodded, not going to argue.
"Glad we got that settled." Maja muttered.((I think we're leaning towards romance here, honestly.))
((I think so too...))"You will have to sleep eventually though." He said, even though he wouldn't take his own advice.
"I'll sleep later." She said.((Just go with it?))
"I'm not going to argue. I'll lose so there isn't a point." He answered.
"I'm glad you know it." Maja said. She sat up now, pulling her jacket tighter. The wind was blowing harder now. "Maybe sitting up here wasn't the best idea..."
"I've lost previous fights against you. I don't want to lose the little bit of pride that I have left." Jasper answered. "We can move somewhere else?" He suggested.
She laughed, "Good. Yeah, let's move," she said.
Jasper stood up. "Where to?" He asked her.
"Just further down?" Maja picked up her bag as she stood.
"Okay." Jasper nodded. He led her further down where it'd be warmer.
Maja followed him, sticking pretty close.
Jasper found a place for them to sit. He sat down, smiling at her. "Better?"
Maja watched the Ravenclaw team some more; they really were good. Better than the Gryffindor team this year.
Jasper watched the team, lost in thought.
"What do you think? Think they'll beat Slytherin?" Maja asked, nudging him playfully.
"Hmm, what?" He asked, not having heard her. Jasper glanced over.
"The Ravenclaw team. Do you think they'll beat Slytherin?" Maja repeated.
Jasper nodded. "Yeah. Probably. Our team isn't very good."
"Ours either." Maja said with a giggle. "I wonder if the Hufflepuff team is any good."
"I don't know. I've never seen them play." He replied.
"I guess we may have to come watch their practice next time then." Jasper told her.
