She shook her head and smacked him. "I know!" She sighed and rolled her eyes. "This is Emma, Tiffany, Bianca, and Piper." That wasn't everyone, of course, but the ones Maja was closest to.

"Ow." Jasper mumbled, rubbing where she smacked him. He smiled faintly. "Nice to meet you," He said politely to Maja's friends.
A couple of them smiled, and Tiffany waved.
There was an awkward silence, when no one knew what to say.
Jasper nudged Maja. "Want me to just come find you after dinner?" He asked softly, watching her.
"You sure?" He asked. Jasper just felt like he should let her be with her friends, not wanting to bother her.
"I'm sure !" Jasper was her friend too, and she almost liked him more than some of her fellow Gryffindors.
"Okay." Jasper nodded. He ran a hand through his hair.
Maja sighed. "Hey guys, what did you think of that potions test today?" She asked((Please take over some of her friends))
((okay.))"It was really easy for me." Piper answered. "How'd you do on it?" She asked Maja.
Jasper yawned softly, staying by Maja.
She nodded. "I think I did okay. There were a couple things I know I missed, though." She scowled at that.
"You probably did really good. You always do. Even if you missed a few." Piper told her with a smile. Jasper just listened to them talk, looking around.
"I'm sure you did." Piper assured her, smiling.
Maja turned to Jasper. "Did you have any tests today?"
Jasper thought for a moment. "Hmmm, no. Not today." He replied, shrugging.
"What year are you?" Asked Bianca, leaning over.
"I'm a Sixth." Jasper replied to Bianca, looking over at her. He smiled faintly.
There was a collective "ohhh", and this time it was Emma who asked, "Are the classes any harder next year?"
Jasper shrugged. "Not to me. But it all depends on what classes you get into." He answered.
"Potions. Defense against the dark arts. Transfiguration. Ancient Runes. Astronomy." Jasper listed.
"You're in Ancient Runes?" Said Emma and Bianca at once.
"Yeah." Jasper nodded. "why?" He asked hesitantly.
"We love Ancient Runes," Emma explained. "What sort of things are you learning?"
"All sorts of stuff. I don't know. It's hard to explain." He replied.
"I can't wait until next year." Bianca said.
"Don't get too excited. Moving on to next year means you're a lot closer to leaving this place." Jasper commented, looking around again
"True..." Bianca frowned. "But you get to learn more advanced stuff!"
"Fair point." Jasper replied, shrugging.
"Makes sense though. Nerds have to stick together." Jasper said, glancing over at her.
"Yep!" Said Maja, echoed by a couple of her friends.
"Maybe that's why you stuck around me." Jasper said, looking over at Maja
"I figured it had to be something like that." Jasper replied, smiling at her.
"I know that." Jasper replied. He smiled lightly, thinking.
Maja looked up suddenly, noticing some people were beginning to leave the Great Hall. She frowned. "Already?"
Jasper shrugged. He didn't wear a watch so he had no clue what time it was.
Maja sighed. "I guess we should get going then..."
"I guess so." Jasper stood up, stretching.
She sighed again, standing up and slinging her bag into her shoulder. The other girls stood as well, but headed for the door without waiting for Maja. She cause Emma looking back at her with a smirk and rolled her eyes.
Jasper slung his bag over his shoulder. "Where to?" He asked her.
Maja shrugged. "Back to the dorms, probably." Truth be told, she didn't want to.
"But it's boring there.." Jasper said, pouting.
