"Nope. Not yet." Ari replied. She kept looking around them.

Ari nodded. "Yeah same here. Thank you for letting me get those couple hours of sleep." She said quietly, finally lowering her gun.

"Yeah..." Ari nodded, looking at Zia. She may have been a good shot but she didn't like shooting or harming people. Even to protect herself.

Zia shrugged. "Never mind." She said. She leaned against her moped, pulling her hair down from its pile so the dreadlocks hung around her shoulders.

Ari kept looking around, expecting more figures. She picked up her backpack and slung it over her shoulder.

Zia shrugged. "To each their own." she said. She started fiddling with the necklace she wore, a nervous habit of hers.

Ari shrugged. She stayed nearby, walking around some. She was trying to make sure they're weren't more waiting to ambush them.

Ari also knew that Zia needed rest too. So whenever Zia felt like she could actually slept, Ari would keep watch for her.

Zia sighed, dropping her hand and sinking to sit on the ground, staring out at the desert around them. "I hate this place at night." She said suddenly.

"It's too open." Zia was mostly talking to herself, she tended to do that, but if Ari was going to respond, Zia would take it.

"No. You don't. All of this around us is open space. People can see us pretty easily...It's dangerous." Ari replied softly

Zia nodded. "It's too open, too..." She shook her head. "There are a lot of things that could go wrong."

Now that the adrenaline was wearing off, Zia was getting tired, but she knew she wasn't about to go to sleep. She pulled up her knees and crossed her arms over them, resting her chin on her arms.

Zia didn't want to fall asleep. She didn't. But she would if she didn't do something. Huffing almost angrily, she pushed herself off the ground and began to walk around their tiny campsite.

Ari focused on the stars in the sky. Each time she found a constellation she knew, she drew a tally on the ground. It kept herself busy. ((It's okay..)
"Finding constellations." Ari answered, glancing over at Zia. After a moment, she Looked at the sky again.

"Not really. A little, from my mom, but she was more interested in plants." Zia dropped down to sit next to Ari.

Ari pointed one out to her, explaining what the constellation was and the stars that made it. She wasn't sure if Zia would even be interested or care.

Ari stayed sitting. She looked around for ones that she knew the story of so she could tell Zia the story.

If there was one thing Zia liked, it was stories. Her mom used to make up stories to get her to fall asleep at night.

Ari pointed a constellation out. She began to tell the story behind it. When Ari wasn't nervous about speaking, she actually was a pretty good story teller.
