message 151: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "Nope. Not yet." Ari replied. She kept looking around them.

message 152: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) "Good. Maybe it was only one." Zia didn't let herself believe it, though.

message 153: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "I doubt it.." Ari mumbled. She continued to keep watching, nervous.

message 154: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) "Well I don't know about you," Zia said, "But I can't even think about sleeping now."

message 155: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari nodded. "Yeah same here. Thank you for letting me get those couple hours of sleep." She said quietly, finally lowering her gun.

message 156: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) "No problem." Zia put her her gun away.

message 157: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari put her gun safely back into her bag. She bit her lip Lightly.

message 158: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) "You okay?" Zia asked. She thought the other girl didn't look too good.

message 159: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "Yeah..." Ari nodded, looking at Zia. She may have been a good shot but she didn't like shooting or harming people. Even to protect herself.

message 160: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) "You don't look too good." Never say Zia wasn't honest.

message 161: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari shrugged. "Okay.." She felt okay. Nothing seemed wrong to her.

message 162: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia shrugged. "Never mind." She said. She leaned against her moped, pulling her hair down from its pile so the dreadlocks hung around her shoulders.

message 163: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari kept looking around, expecting more figures. She picked up her backpack and slung it over her shoulder.

message 164: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) "What are you doing?" Zia asked.

message 165: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "I just feel better having my bag on my back." Ari replied. She shrugged, looking over at Zia.

message 166: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia shrugged. "To each their own." she said. She started fiddling with the necklace she wore, a nervous habit of hers.

message 167: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari shrugged. She stayed nearby, walking around some. She was trying to make sure they're weren't more waiting to ambush them.

message 168: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia knew she should rest, but she couldn't, not now. She didn't want to be like her mother.

message 169: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari also knew that Zia needed rest too. So whenever Zia felt like she could actually slept, Ari would keep watch for her.

message 170: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia sighed, dropping her hand and sinking to sit on the ground, staring out at the desert around them. "I hate this place at night." She said suddenly.

message 171: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari walked back over, nodding. "Yeah. Me too.." She agreed.

message 172: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) "It's too open." Zia was mostly talking to herself, she tended to do that, but if Ari was going to respond, Zia would take it.

message 173: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari nodded in agreement. She sat a few feet away, facing her.

message 174: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia shook her head, looking down and fiddling with the necklace again. "I probably sound crazy."

message 175: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "No. You don't. All of this around us is open space. People can see us pretty easily...It's dangerous." Ari replied softly

message 176: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia nodded. "It's too open, too..." She shook her head. "There are a lot of things that could go wrong."

message 177: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "Yeah. I know." Ari nodded in agreement. "We'll get out of here soon." She told Zia.

message 178: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia huffed. "It's only about midnight," she said, changing the subject.

message 179: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari nodded. She looked up at the sky, wondering if there were many stars visible.

message 180: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Now that the adrenaline was wearing off, Zia was getting tired, but she knew she wasn't about to go to sleep. She pulled up her knees and crossed her arms over them, resting her chin on her arms.

message 181: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari saw all the stars and smiled faintly. She looked around, mainly for familiar constellations.

message 182: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia didn't want to fall asleep. She didn't. But she would if she didn't do something. Huffing almost angrily, she pushed herself off the ground and began to walk around their tiny campsite.

message 183: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari frowned some, noting how upset Zia sounded. She stayed where she was, Giving Zia space.

message 184: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia just needed to keep herself awake.

((Sorry this is incredibly short))

message 185: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari focused on the stars in the sky. Each time she found a constellation she knew, she drew a tally on the ground. It kept herself busy.

((It's okay..)

message 186: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) "What are you doing?" Zia asked after a minute.

message 187: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "Finding constellations." Ari answered, glancing over at Zia. After a moment, she Looked at the sky again.

message 188: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) "Oh." Zia didn't know what to say after that.

message 189: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "Did you ever learn about them?" Ari asked curiously. She kept her eyes on the sky.

message 190: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) "Not really. A little, from my mom, but she was more interested in plants." Zia dropped down to sit next to Ari.

message 191: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari nodded. "Makes sense. Knowing about the stars isn't exactly that much of a useful skill.

message 192: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia shrugged. "Yeah, I guess."

message 193: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari pointed one out to her, explaining what the constellation was and the stars that made it. She wasn't sure if Zia would even be interested or care.

message 194: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia was interested; it would keep her awake. And it was interesting.

message 195: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari explained a few different ones as well. She smiled faintly, pointing them out.

message 196: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia was soon laying on her back, staring up at the sky.

message 197: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari stayed sitting. She looked around for ones that she knew the story of so she could tell Zia the story.

message 198: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) If there was one thing Zia liked, it was stories. Her mom used to make up stories to get her to fall asleep at night.

message 199: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari pointed a constellation out. She began to tell the story behind it. When Ari wasn't nervous about speaking, she actually was a pretty good story teller.

message 200: by Ema (new)

Ema (gee-fiera) Zia found Ari's stories soothing. She felt comfortable.
