I had a pre-release placeholder edition for my book, and then another edition appeared upon publication. So, I combined them because the pre-release had a rating and To-Read entries. But, I'd really only like one Kindle edition. I can't seem to separate them now. Is it possible to merge them so the one with the ASIN number remains and still keep the rating and To-Read entries associated with the pre-release edition?

My book is The Bloodline The Ancient Ones Chronicles by Barbara Hinesley. I need the version labeled ebook deleted. I had to add another edition just to update my cover so I'm not sure if that's right or not. I'm sorry. I'm a hot mess. Please forgive me and help if you can. I would be so grateful.

Yesterday I merged several other strays with <5 reviews. For some reason those haven't gone through yet, but your merges of the bigger editions have.

I found one possible ACE where the cover doesn't match with ISBN-edition. Rest all can be merged I think. Will check tomorrow if your merges went through and if not, I can give another try :)

Merging has been very slow this week, even for books with only a few reviews.

Why are you asking for this to be deleted, it looks like a valid edition?

No. It depends on how many other merges or deletions are in process, and how many affected shelvings the work being merged has.

Could you at least delete the cover images for the books or allow me to submit new ones? I'm supposed to be a professional graphic designer and I don't want those pieces attached to my name anymore.

Start a new thread in this folder, and librarians can assist you with adding an alternate-cover edition. See http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1... and http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/85.... As the author, you will have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile.
