We prefer editing the edition you created instead. Please start a new thread with the info that should be added.

So sorry, I have already made a new edition. I thought that was easiest since I hadn't added anything else than the title before it was saved. And then all information had to be added through you. Sorry <3

And then all information had to be added through you."Doing it the proper way, i.e. separating out both editions, merging one and recombining the remaining edition is more work than editing an existing title. Just for future reference :)

These still haven't been completed. Is the system just way slower than usual due to the backlog? I've seen ones submitted after those and they've been completed.

Can't really say when they will get merged. I don't think the order of merges is first-come-first-serve though. #93 took 4 days to go through btw, so maybe check back after another couple of days? FWIW, some of the ratings got shifted already for #198. Still plenty more to go

I hunted down all versions of this author multiple times since the first of the year. I've combined authors and combined works until I'm blue in the face. Yet I just discovered that someone had recreated the erroneous author listing a few weeks ago with duplicate books. This is the correct profile:

505 Those books were not added by someone but by an automatic import. Those books need combining, not merging, so this request doesn't belong in this thread. But I combined them.
#506 That edition has a different cover and publisher than the one with the isbn, no merge. There were two other editions that were duplicates; merged those two.

Fingers crossed I succeeded in starting a new thread for this. If not, apologies. This is my first time using this board. I need to request a book be deleted.
