Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls .. The Glass Castle
I have We Were Liars to read..good to hear you enjoyed it Maddie :)

And now I've started This Must Be the Place (and loving it) but the first three narrators also a 1st p, a 2nd p and a 3rd p.
Now I'd say that 2nd person narratives are unusual, so to have one in consecutive books.... cue Twilight Zone music again.

Was a DNF for me. Did not find that first male POV to be a mind I wanted to be in - I did the get very far in and I virtually flung the book against the wall.

I see that a library I am going to tomorrow has a copy available - maybe I'll borrow it out... Perhaps you aren't enjoying it as much as you might do if you didn't have other things on your mind!!

jealous!

One of my 5 star reads for this year. Challenge try to read it without crying.

The Eye of the Sheep by Sofie Laguna was exceptional wasn't it!

It's killing me, Brenda! I have just enjoyed this series so much. I may go into mourning when I'm finished....will probably need vast amounts of chocolate....
LOL! Chocolate will definitely help :) But if it's that good you can always do a re-read down the track! Start all over again :)

This is very true - to both! Chocs will help, re-read will help. But I'm still feeling a little maudlin and I'm not even halfway through the book yet!
It's one of those things where you read and enjoy such a great series, then when it's finished it leaves you feeling a bit lost! Or maybe that's just me...
No I understand completely! I hope you can find another series equally as good - maybe a really long one :)

I'm trying to comfort myself with the knowledge that some books from the many different series I follow are coming out soon, and a couple are in the post even now as we speak. Also, there are so many wonderful stories out there! Yep, feeling better...no...wait...LOL

Ooohh - just got word that

Awesome! I do love this series, too, so I'm really looking forward to it.

I have just started Never Alone by Elizabeth Haynes. One of the narrators, a male, calls himself "you" - it's very distracting! Breaks the flow - hopefully I'll get used to it soon!
