message 18: by Dakota (new)

Dakota Jay | 8 comments I would love to help :) As an indie author, any exposure is wonderful, especially if it benefits both of us.

Here is a summary of my book as an example:
Inside of this book sits a multitude of poems that paint the colourful strokes of life. Included are the harsh realities, the brimming hopes, and the never-ending struggle to break out of your cage and find yourself. The author uses himself as an honest example. Drink in the madness and find a place amongst these pages.

It is a memoir based on my 20 year experience as a NYPD police officer/detective. It tells of my experience of 9/11 and shootouts with drug dealers and also allows the reader to understand that there is a life beneath the shield.

message 27: by Carmel (new)

Carmel Audsley (httpwwwoursyoursandmineswebscom) | 44 comments Hello K.A,
I have published four historical fiction novels, but have recently released a contemporary novella about an elderly couple who have been diagnosed with terminal illnesses. They decide to take one last cruise - and not return. Most of the action is set aboard the cruise ship and at the ports they visit. It is only when it is too late that the couple's adult children realise that they were so busy being busy that they missed the signs that they were needed. It would be good to discuss the motivation behind writing the book. https://www.amazon.com/LAST-HURRAH-el...
