Just type the usernames on Instagram :) Bookstagram is a part of Instagram so you will find us all on Instagram :)

I use a tablet a lot to read on rather than paperbooks as i dont have a lot of space, Can i still use bookstagram as i notice it is all paperbooks shown

I’m @BookishExpat on Instagram. I have been on Instagram for ages but only just got a dedicated book-focused account this summer.
I love the community! So fun and friendly.
Though I sometimes feel like hype spreads like wildfire on it, haha!

how do you all think of backgrounds to do and how to arrange it for the photos. I have tried taking photos but cant get it right or dont have a lot for the background and they look so plain and boring compared to all the others out there

I've had mine for almost a year (my 1 year anniversary for bookstagram is on the 26th so in a couple of weeks) and I say that one thing I learned is just be yourself. Don't try to have a theme unless you really want one but also don't worry so much about what others think or how many likes/followers you get cause I think it should be fun and it should be totally you and whatever inspires you. :) plus it's also YOUR account and bookstagram and no one else's so it SHOULD be about you and what speaks to you. :)
