Japanese author name needs correcting

It looks like only the name in Japanese script should be there, but I prefer leaving this to a librarian who speaks Japanese.

Apparently this author is not a physical person. I think the author is unknown, this work dating from the 12th century (see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genji_M...).

The second work "Tokugawa Bijutsukan Meihinshū" is a collection of masterpieces (the literal translation of Meihinshū is "masterpieces collection") from the Tokugawa Bijutsukan (bijutsukan means arts museum).

Thus I ask the question whether the Tokugawa Museum can be credited the authorship of these works.

Thanks, Jérémie. I don't think this book is the actual Tale of Genji, which comprises many books. Google Translate says it's a picture scroll.

I see a lot of duplications there, I'm not sure what the correct "authors" would be.

Thanks, Iris. Since both titles are in Japanese I don't think it's necessary to have the English name for the museum there, but I don't think it can hurt either. The role should be the same for both though (editor).

Did you add the series by mistake? Should it be deleted? Or are the books vol. 1 and 2 of a series?

Iris, since the books are added to series, whatever you type in the parentheses won't show up on the book page. But they are visible when you check all editions of that book or the series page where the book is added. They also show up in anyone's shelves if they shelved the books.

It seems as if there are two series pages created:

#2 - https://www.goodreads.com/series/175075

Are these two books part of a series? If so, we should delete the duplicate series and add both books to same series page. If they are not part of a series, we should delete both series pages.

Series徳川美術館蔵品抄 have volume#1~#10. 源氏物語絵巻 belongs to this, and is #2.
Series徳川美術館名品集 have volume#1~#3. 絵巻 belongs to this, and is #1.

Iris, you added both series perfectly. I don't see anything wrong with them.

The only question is whether they are both series according to GR policy, but the criteria aren't very clear for non-fiction books, so I think they can stay (until someone higher-up decides differently).
